Haven't received payment

I submitted a Sell Order on June 16th and waited the 10 days they said it takes to receive payment. When I called they said they were having technical difficulties and couldn't process checks so they asked for my bank information and they said I would get an ACH deposit in 2-3 days. I waited and then called again and they said they were having more technical issues and couldn't process the ACH deposit for at least two weeks.

DON'T USE THIS COMPANY!

Updated by user Mar 12, 2020

3/12/20:Here is the final email I sent today. I repeat - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!!I'm writing to let you know that I will now suspend all dealings with your company.

It is indeed unfortunate. I have been a customer for years and had no problems until now. Understanding your guarantee policy - which you have a right to enact - I asked for a waiver when I was able to verify fraudulent activity on my purchased gift card. I did this at great time and expense to myself by calling the vendor directly.

Even when I showed you the evidence, and emailed you multiple times, you refused to look into my situation. I filled out form after form on your website. I was unable to call you, of course, because you have no customer service phone number. I wrote email after email.

Lately, you've been completely ignoring my emails and not responding at all. In desperation, I told you that I had initiated a complaint with an online company. That was nine days ago. Still no response.

So now, I will no longer have business dealings with you. On top of that, starting today, I will do my level best to make sure that every single complaint site online has a registered complaint against you - from me. It will be formally written, dispassionate, and succinct.

Everyone will know. And all of this for a few dollars, because you persist in keeping your atrocious customer service policies, and will not look at a valid complaint from a longtime customer.Goodbye, Gift Card Spread.

2/25/20 - I continue to send emails to this company, plus fill out contact forms on their web page. They are now ignoring me.

There appears to be no other way to connect with them. I am beyond frustrated.

Original review Feb 06, 2020

12/8/19 - I purchased a gift card to Office Depot with a face value of $81.30. On 12/8/19, when I went to use it, I was told that the balance (after my purchase) was only $4.41!

WHAT? It should be MUCH more. I went to www.giftcardspread.com and filled out an online contact form. I also went online to www.officedepot.com and did indeed verify that my balance was only $4.41.

1/13/20 - Office Depot was very helpful.

I went through an entire online chat sequence with them, where they verified that this was indeed the balance AND they gave me the card history. They sent me screen shots of the purchases and everything. We were able to determine that an order had been made in Louisiana (I live in Idaho) by someone named Claude Fuller (dont know who he is) and that he had shown ID and picked it up in store there. I was able to prove (with my calendar) that I was not anywhere near Louisiana on the date in question and Office Depot is attempting to do what they can.

However, it is NOT their fault.

1/20/20 Armed with all the above information, youd think Id be able to get something from Gift Card Spread. Nope. They sent me an automated response saying something like this is the risk we all take in purchasing gift cards that have been previously owned and other nonsense. The automated email also said theyd look into it.

Please note there seems to be no way to connect with them either than with an online contact form or sending an email to customer service.

2/2/20 sent an email and filled out an online contact form no response

2/3/20 sent an email and filled out an online contact form no response

2/4/20 sent an email and filled out an online contact form no response

2/5/20 sent an email and filled out an online contact form no response

2/6/20 sent an email and filled out an online contact form no response

2/6/20 am initiating a complaint with this website in the hopes something will happen. How can I give a business a verifiable name and location of redemption of MY card and they not look into it?

Ive asked if this could have been the seller and all sorts of other theories that come to mind, but they wont respond and keep saying that this is a risk and its been too long and what do you expect us to do? Really???
