Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology.

I live in Seattle, WA. On 7/21 I made a reservation to a boat through GetMyBoat.com for 7/28 between 3-7PM.
This website makes suggestion to similar boats, when you send an inquiry to one (let's say for 6 adults) asking if you want to send it to similar boats.

I said yes, my inquiry was sent to E. H. who later sent me an offer and a message saying I can book the boat.
It's not a requirement to have a boat license on the website, it asks you about your experience level. I shared we occasionally rent boats (with WA drivers license) and my friend has a sailing training.

He never said anything regarding to that, answered my question about if he has a toddler vest or not.
On the day of the booking, me, my husband and toddler arrived earlier and started talking to him, he asked for a license, I told him I don't have one, I always rented without one but can ask my friends. Later, they also confirmed they don't have one.
I told him, it's not on his listing or website as a requirement. He said he thought the website had that, he doesn't have visibility as a renter of what we saw. I showed him how it is on the website.
On the spot, I asked him if he is OK with cancellation or partial refund, he said yes and called the customer service line of GetMyBoat but didn't get any response, assuming because it was Sunday.
We agreed on emailing them and I left.
Later, I reached out to GetMyBoat via email, they reached out to E.

and he said he is not willing to make a refund.
They said they will not be helping me, because the renter says so. And has the requirement on his listing.
Later, I emailed GetMyBoat customer service a couple of times, asking if they have visibility on when he updates his listing (because the requirement wasn't there), he agreed with me on the spot, otherwise I would find a friend with a boat license. I reminded them we didn't use the boat and at least the fuel charge needs to be compensated. The website never responded to any of my emails and simply ignored renter's rights.
On the inquiry, the website asks for experience level.

I did not mention having a license and only share my previous experience as occasionally renting boats.

Which he never commented on and seemed fine until the actual appointment time arrived.
I think the website should not be suggesting other listings, has to make uploading a copy of the boating license as part of the booking process and use other reminders if this is listed as a requirement.
In my case, it wasn't. And website declines to provide me when the listing was updated or not responding my emails, simply ignoring my rights.
