I walked around the gym looked how use the equipment and I didn't get any help!!! These happened on 8/06/18 3:00pm

Get fitness owes me $400 I got into a car accident and became disabled back in September of 2017 and am still fighting the charges I’ve requested for someone to call me and the owner will not call me!!! I have gone up there and called so it resulted in me disputing my claims with my bank and they still refuse to give me back the money I prepaid for personal training. This company seems great at first and are very nice and helpful UNTIL you no longer want the membership.

This gym was wonderful. They froze my membership while I underwent chemotherapy and radiation treatment.

During treatment, I couldn't wait to get back to the gym. It took longer than I expected to recover even enough to go back and start from scratch. They reinstated my membership in a matter of seconds. I like the gym and for the way they treated me, I will stick with them.

Also, I found that the gym is well stocked with equipment and the staff always greats me and tells me to have a nice day when I leave. I find that I must schedule my work outs around peak times, but that is the same with all gyms.

Was threatened with violence by steroid aggressive abuser. Happened on 4/17/17 at 10:30 pm.

Went to gym late in evening to avoid incidents like this. Result is my cancellation of membership immediately by blocking any and all transactions with credit card.

So many issues with this gym (including being screamed at in front of the entire gym by its owner.) My most recent issue, which prompted me to leave Get Fitness for good, was when I attempted to put a freeze on my training in October. Several days before my monthly payment was due, I told my trainer that I needed a freeze on my account.

He told me to come in and said we'd take care of it, no problem. He told me when to come in, helped me fill out the proper paperwork and left it for the front desk administrator to process. He told me everything was set. Several days later, I was charged the $90 for my monthly training fee anyway.

My trainer told me the front desk guy had lost my paperwork and never processed it. That front desk employee told me I didn't fill out the paperwork in time anyway, as did the owner, despite my trainer telling me we had taken care of it when we filled out the freeze form. And they still refuse to refund my money.

The owner and administrators are jerks with no sense of what good customer service looks like, even though they were clearly in the wrong. And the kicker is that after I quit, I received a couple of emails and texts from that same front desk employee offering me special deals if I came back.

Got my credit card number and continued to charge astronomical random charges for training sessions i was not receiving. When i went in to complain i was called name and bullied by the owner. Most unprofessional place and they are still trying to charge a card i had to cancel because of them.

Won't stop trying to charge a card that was stollen and closed what a crook company I would suggest them to be shut down I have heard numerous complaints about them doing this to other people it's month to month if we don't like your *** gym that's why we are canceling!

I was curious about the local gyms in the area and decided to check this place out. Let me tell you, after having horrible experiences with many local gyms in Largo, this was a great relief to find.

My trip first started off with an AMAZINGLY kind staff that helped me understand every aspect of their reasonable prices. I was extremely skeptical upon entry with no intentions of signing up on the spot and I spent many hours looking into reviews of this gym and must say that although they may have had issues in the past, I could find nothing to critique. I was so ecstatic to start working out that I signed up that very day and was even given a free session with a personal trainer! I had such a wide variety of well educated (backed up with multiple degrees) trainers too.

I am happy to say I've been training with them consistently for weeks now and am already starting to see results, that I myself have been trying to achieve myself for years, in very short time.

10/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!! Every gym needs to be like this.

I tried to cancel, they basically would not let me. The guy kept offering different types of offers even though I obviously did not want the membership any longer.

(I go to college and get a free gym now) I still got my way but the staff was rude about it. A female employee led me out telling my to have a great life. This company seems great at first and are very nice and helpful UNTIL you no longer want the membership.

Make sure you read the terms and conditions before signing. it is very contract binding and after reading you may no longer want to join.

I feel that I was overcharged and that your staff is in need of customer service education.You will not be getting positive feedback/customer referrals from me! No electric 10-04-12..How long can you work out with no fans?

no air moving? and WHY? I go in to cancel, I'm supposed to hand over $20 so an employee can go and get change?? No!

I get charged the same 9.99 plus tax!

and 10. plus tax!!(no mention of tax with cancel.. in contract) for both me and my underaged dtr..so!! $43 to CX!!

You're the ones with no elec!! apparently you need the $$$...I was just trying to help my dtr to heal her knee. I will buy my own equipment, @ least we'll have elec... and no hidden fees and wandering employees!!!

WE JOINED GYM AS MY DTR SUSTAINED KNEE INJURY FROM TAE KWON DO. She was not allowed to be @ gym alone, required me to be there as she is only 15 yrs old.

10-04-12 NO ELECTRIC!!!You Didn't pay the electric bill!!!!!!!! So, I went to cancel us, 10-05-12...I had to pAY 21.39 for each of us! She can't be there without me, and you're running a gym with NO electric??? UMMMMMMM....NO!

SO!, not right on so many levels...!!! I never got the 1 hr guaranteed trainer.. blah, blah, blah. they're all walking around there for sure,!

but NO help, advice. , scoping it out for potentials... I was so unimpressed!. Hope you're not paying the 6 people there a salary!

SAD! It's dirty and unprofessional! Perhaps the girls/gents behind the desk should have some classes in manners/professionalism? The trainers..What trainers?

We had one initial session to train my dtr...She didn't understand, I didn't understand..We were then expected to pay for a private trainer!!?? Nope! She should not be req to pay the same fees..PLUS tax!!! Honestly!!PLUS TAX every charge!

NOT RIGHT. Contract says 10$ no mention, plus tax. She should not be req to pay cx fee any kind esp with NO ELEC!!!!!What a sorry excuse for a gym..very unprofessional employees as well. Perhaps they lack training?

I joined the club prior to their opening and was expressly told that it was a month to month membership without any "hidden" fees from the rep that signed me up. I felt good about joining at the time.

When my Step Dad had a stroke, I could no longer go. I have been trying to cancel my contract and they just keep taking money out of my account, and more! They are cheats, liars and ***. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT sign up for this club.

They will bleed you dry!. If you have a complaint do not hesitate to place it on this site so we can save others the grief I We have gone through.

I do a gym work out at GET FITNESS in Largo Florida, I joined back in May 2010 and I used to love the GYM for its great equipment, clean enviroment (deep and vcauumed cleaned only after hours) and real nice people working there. Recently I heard to save money the management decided to bring in a a local illegal immigrant cleaner to Vacuum the gym during business hours, the specific times are twice a day (12pm to 2pm) and (7pm to 10pm).

They wipe itmes and machines down durring the day, but GET FITNESS used to do a thorough cleaning at night when the gym closed. But now they decided money is more important than peoples healths. I was just about to bring my wife to sign up, but they showed me the true ways of a unhealthy policy. This New Cleaning policy is great for us working types who must work out during the dirty hours.

I could see perhaps had they notified everyone of the change, and that might give some of us a heads up on this, but no one was told, and I saw over 40 people including myself get sick from last last inside that gym. Most people never complain, they simply let corporations and people walk all over them. Well, I own a Computer company here in Pinellas and my customers come first. If my friends and I had gotten what we signed up for, we would get this Vacuuming from a NON HEPA FILTER vacuuming stopped immediately.

Instead, we call to complain and we get customer service people telling us just a bunch of broken promises. My advice, do the deep cleaning when the gym is closed, VACUUM with HEPA FILTER VACUUMS, and MOP with ANTIBACTERIAL solutions. And have customer service ask our names when someone calls, and have the owner call back.

I want answers,,,,I want the old policy! I want a real clean gym,,,doing it the correct way, not the fast way.
