Sells herself as a christian but is a complete fabrication and fake with multiple personality problems. Unstable environment and an unstable person breeding at a factory level.......just ask to talk with a number of her former clients, or better yet, ask for a complete list and you'll be ushered off.
If you check around with the vets in the area you will find many are problematic behaviorally and physically.

Monnette is the maternal co-leader of a religious cult. Her children are so subservient it's unsettling,and her need to push her beliefs on others is maddening.
As far as a business woman goes, she makes no effort in even the slightest way to "work with" customers. Regardless of your situation or the amount of money you are laying out for animal it is her way or no way. She makes you sit through hours of fluff and nonsense to hear herself talk in order to cover less than a handful of salient points which could be covered in 30 minutes. She then makes you come to ANOTHER hour long session prior to picking your dog up.
Why? Who knows?! She's an evil nut.

I fell for the religious posing. I never would have believed that Monette was anything but the real deal.
She was a HS classmate of mine! My dog was a gift dog and was mean and had behavior issues from easily 3-4 months old. Monette claimed she has never had a dog that head intentionally bit their owner. Well, mine bit me more times than I recall but bad enough to go to the ER at least 6 times in 3 1/2 years just for me, and my girlfriend once.
The last attack was down right predatory and animal control was called in on that one by the hospital. Monette then went on to destroy my relationship with my daughters by lying and other unrelated stuff, cult-like is an understatement. I would like more information about behavior issues with her pups.
Monette told one or both of my daughters that she didn’t want the gory pictures of my arm and hand posted on FB because she didn’t want to hurt Ansel's chances of being REHOMED! Boy, that sounds unethical!
We have two of Monette's dogs. One is 10 and one is 7.
They are amazing dogs and have had no real health issues. We are about to put in an application for another german shep.

I have owned one of Monettes dogs for Nine year now and he is the best dog I have ever owned health wise and Personality wise. He has had no joint issues at all and no health problems either.
I know for a fact that Monette is a true cristian and someone saying otherwise makes me question their faith. Joint problems are not always caused by breeding they are environmental too.
I am going back and getting a second dog from her this summer. One of the best breeding programs I know of.
We have two of Monette's dogs, and although they have sweet temperaments, they both have had physical problems including hip displaysia and severe immune system deficiencies. She did refund half our purchase price on the one with hip displaysia, but that only covered a fraction of the cost of surgeries. I would look elsewhere next time.
my first german shepherd was a female I bought from Monette, she lived to be 12. She was OFA excellent, which is the best hip rating there is.
She also was attack trained, and her obiedience was at the top of her class. Monette goes to great lengths studying geneology before breeding her wonderful dogs! As far as temperment goes, Monette also goes to great lengths matching pups to owners.
She has a very stable facitity in the mountains of colorado. I will always own one of Monettes dogs, and wouldn't buy one from anyone else!
