New owner
- - Speed indicator unreadable in daylight.
- - Dealer is aware, and Kia Motors must acknowledge the flaw.

The electroluminescent speed indicater is seriously deficient in daylight driving. One has to take one's eyes off the road to search for the little red needle on the black background creating a hazardous situation.
The folks at KIA are surely smarter than this and should take steps to remedy this.
Simply program the speed indicater screen to illuminate when the engine is started no matter the level of light.
The dealer is aware of our concern but their hands are tied until KIA Motors acknowledges their flaw in design. Otherwise, we are pleased with our purchase and the dealers attention.
