Debit Card Dispute- Ticket 3940****

They work with a third party agency for fraud disputes and the company has up to 90 days to work with the frauder to clear cases. This is ridiculous.

I am writing to get the email/contact number for the president or corporate leader of the Georgias Own Credit Union in Atlanta. My debit card was compromised on December 6 and 7th of 2023.

However, the charges of $59.95, $119.95, $159.95, and $199.95 from a bogus company called Ketopur were actually charged on September 6 and 7th of 2023 from my debit card ending in 8281. I dont understand why it took so long for the charges to show up on my account. After seeing these charges and going to the local credit union in Savannah, I gave them the card and received another about 6 days later. I am very disappointed in the process to receive my funds back into my account.

I feel like I am being punished. It would be nice to get my funds back while the bank goes after the thief. I have been on the phone repeatedly with the dispute department. First, I was told it would take 10 business days.

Now, they say 60-90 days. This is frustrating and time consuming as I sit through all the telephone system questions, etc., before finally speaking to someone.

I have been with this bank for a long time and cant believe this is happening to me. At this point, I am done with Georgias Own.

Called me about fraud on my acct, frozen my acct..Didn't give a case # No one will talk to me now

I got a call yesterday about someone trying to make a wire fraud from mr acct. They did not give me a case#.

Called back in the afternooon and whoever i spoke to someone he told me that the investigators were too busy for him to transfer me. and they were wrappng up for the day. call back. I called today and was hung up on.

I've tried 4 times. still haven't spoken to anyone

Every time I have to contact those bank it takes forever and is extremely unpleasant. The employees clearly hate their jobs and they are very rude and unhelpful.

So many illegal junk fees. I will be starting an account somewhere else.

I wanted to know the details of my application status I was told by one of your agents that I will find out through email on today whether not I qualify or if the account could be open in my name but I havent received anything from either or email that I put on that app present it to the agent so yes, Im trying to find out if my account is open if I even qualify for this account
