BEWARE!!
Rude, condescending, obnoxious. The lady that runs this dilapidated place is not working with all cylinders.
She set a 5 pm appointment with us and did not arrive until 6 pm. No apology, no remorse, just more rudeness. We had to take the dogs to the vet once we got them. One had rotten teeth and the other had bacterial infections in both ears.
The dogs were dirty and smelled terrible. We were told both dogs were two, but this was a lie. One dog was two the other was anywhere from 7-8 years old. We had to return one due to aggression and other issues, and the lady used her car to block our ability to leave her property.
Then, she had the audacity to call the police on us. After speaking with us, the officer asked if we wanted to file false imprisonment charges on her.
Run as fast as you can away from this lady. She does not take care of the dogs, and she presents as unstable

Verified BuyerRude and judgemental pious owner
I am sure some people have had a good experience with this woman, but, heaven forbid you have a typo or accidentally miss something on her 11 page Word application. Try filling that out on an ipad! It is beyond her to say "hey, you missed something"....
She also accused me of being outside her adoption area, which, I am well within her area. I mapped it...5 times at least. She has dogs waiting to get into her rescue and she can't spend an extra 10 minutes to clarify Some information? I was even wanting to volunteer. Just because i am *** at filling out a form means i am a bad dog parent? Gads.
so, she denied me. I wrote back with clarifications and she's ignored me. I have had poodles my whole 59 years. I am a meticulous poodle owner. So what is my recourse? I will buy from a breeder. What sense does that make? She could have placed a rescue but she is quick to judge. I have allergies...has to be a poodle. If you read all her other negative reviews, there is a common theme....she is rude and now she will go on the attack.
take a look at my former pack...do they look bad off?

Read under BBB for complaints and any other you can find before wasting your time with them
THIS ORGANIZATION IS NOTHING BUT A SCAM, DO YOUR RESEARCH FIRST BEFORE APPLYING. BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I filed an application 2/1/2021 along with my $20 application fee to adopt a baby girl poodle/ Rose.
WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE DO THIS? I got turned down because my past vet account was under my ex-husband name and not my? I have had a poodle for over 25 plus years. When I got married I had an account with the vet in my name, my husband had an account with the same vet and when my Dad passed away and I got his little girl which was a poodle to continue to raise up for eight years had an account with the same vet under my Dad's name, so to make things easier when going to the doctor's office we put all under my husbands name.
Now because I don't have a vet with a dog experience in my NAME they turned me down. I am a 58 year old lady with a nice home with a fenced in backyard with lots of love to give and can't even get another baby. I feel robbed of the $20 application fee.
If they have policies to follow then they need to be printed in writing on the website that if you have been married and divorced, YOU BETTER TALK TO YOUR VET FIRST BEFORE APPLYING IS WHAT THE EMAIL SAID BACK TO ME, UNBELIEVABLE. I wish I would have check for reviews first and the BBB for complaints and I would not have bother wasting my time with these people.

Verified Reviewer | Atlanta, GeorgiaPet rescue scam
I filed an adoption application with Georgia poodle rescue. It's an 11 page application that took me an hour to fill-in.
I also paid a $20 application fee on-line. When I received the response the day after, I was told that I didn't qualify as I wasn't a previous dog owner. I responded back saying that this information was missing in the application form and should have been included in. I got a defensive response back from the rescue owner (Deborah Blatchley) saying that I should have read their on-line policy.
First of all there was no policy posted on their website and second, you would expect this important information to be included in their 11 page adoption form. I got then a very aggressive response back saying that I was the one to blame and to never to contact them again. I was intrigued and did an on-line search on this rescue shelter and found that their owner had similar issues with customers in the past and was arrested several times.
It seems to be a rip-off where she takes people money for adoption and never follow through. I would like to warn future customers about this shelter as it's a scam.

She just got arrested for animal cruelty and abuse. All 60 animals were rescued.
We were fortunate enough to purchase a poodle from Georgia Poodle Rescue five years ago and our experience was an absolutely joy. Debby is a genuine advocate for her dogs and I would take that over a pleasing bedside manner any time.
