June of 2022 during the hotter summer ever, my refrigerator went out. Though advisement, we contact Dane Gentry of Appliance Fanatic out. We were not aware that he was running a service call scam at $79 per visit. It took all but three minutes for him to diagnose the problem as his accomplice was waiting in her hot car with no air. We ordered the compressor from Sears and he came back out to install it with black electric tape and minus the (refrigerant )which took five minutes. Dane never came back out to correct his errors despite our many calls, texts and emails. He remains incognito, his intent is to make money from the service calls never to be required to do repairs as he has no skills to do so. installation.
