We splurged on this exorbitant $9000 water filtration system from Entek a bit over two years ago when we moved into our new home. Initially, we were content with the water quality, but the system ceased to function.

In the first year, the system started failing in May 2023, so I reached out to the corporate office. It took them two months of relentless follow-ups to send a technician under warranty, at no cost. Sean, the service manager, diagnosed a faulty board and ordered a replacement. He replaced it, but it was merely a temporary fix.

After six months, the system failed again. I contacted the service manager, but received no response. I had to chase Heather and Rose, the rude and dismissive call center representatives at (888) 843-****, for three weeks.

They were condescending, cut the call to avoid addressing my issues, and constantly reminded me of the $150 service fee just to diagnose the recurring problem without any real resolution.

Finally, tech George showed up and claimed that our solar charger was not working due to its position, and that the battery was dead. He suggested a costly fix involving a DC connection and annual battery replacements at an additional $99, not to mention the perpetual $150 service fee for each visit.
