I was putting on a second coat of the hard wax finish and had to leave the work. It has been 4 days since then, and the product has set up and is hard. What can I do to repair this area?

I used to work for a company that had direct contact with a rep, and now I work for a different company. I loved the products and am trying to open an account with this new company, but it's hard since I can't actually speak with someone.

GF water based dead flat topcoat is awful to work with. It turns white when sanding, clumps in the corners and drys too quickly.

The product has dark specks in it. It dries too quickly, clumps in corners, then turns white when I try sanding to clean up.
If even a speck inadvertently drops on another area of the wood, it is impossible to quickly wipe up without having to re-sand the whole area. Can't get customer service on the phone. Hate-hate this product.
It has ruined my furniture piece and cost me many, many hours of time. No more General Finishes products!

Arm-R-Seal Gloss change

Have been using Arm-R-Seal gloss (oil) for 30 years - great product. I'm member of Villages Woodworkers Club in Florida.
Last 2 pints of Arm-R-Seal gloss was thicker than normal (lid # 118698). Use Blioxygen every time I close can.
Lids have changed. I think it has affected shelf life.

Not good that an expensive item like this does not have a customer service representative to answer questions.

I bought the Java gel stain to finish a project and the result of the second tin is very different. The original was a beautiful matte finish, the second is an ugly shiny finish.
It has ruined my cabinet and there is no one to help me. A live person to resolve issues like this would be the bare minimum for a company that charges a premium for its products.

Have used & would like to continue using on wallpaper. Need to know if General Finishes has any concerns or a strong recommendation not to apply to wallpaper.

I gave them all the information that they asked for then wanted to charge money to answer why it's not drying. If GF doesn't stand behind their product Old Masters does.

It seems to be impossible to reach this company for a question. Their phone message doesn't accept recorded questions, and just refers you to their retailer for questions which, OF COURSE, the retailer cannot possibly answer.
