They wanted to take my money ahead of time, but thank God I didn't because they never showed up for the appointment. When I called to find out what was happening, customer service wouldn't even pick up and then they began doxing me.

- 4 TB SSD was only formatted to 2 TB; recovery of unallocated space failed.
- Technician spent about 3 hours and was not fixed; GOS won't credit.
I had a 4 TB ssd that was only formatted to 2 TB. I wanted to recover the unallocated space.
I tried everything but couldn't recover it so I used GOS. Big mistake. The technician that showed up was obviously teaching himself HOW to recover unallocatted space WHILE he was doing it. He spent about 2.75 hours and after that it STILL was not corrected.
I voiced a complaint to GOS about the service. The rep from GOS said that they were going to credit my account 1 hour since they did not fix the problem. I received a call back today and they said that they WOULD NOT credit my account because the technician spent approx.
3 hours on the work, which BTW was NEVER completed or CORRECTED. AVOID GOS but if you do use them take it for granted that everything they is probably a lie

- Found Geeks on Site via SF Yellow Pages for Computer Repair.
- Called 415-275-****; the computer was locked and $299 demanded to unlock.
I had a problem with my computer so I looked in the San Francisco Yellow Pages under "Computer Repair" and found Geeks on Site. I called the number, 415-275-****, and the guy told me to go to my computer and follow his instructions which I did.
Next thing I know is my computer is locked and I am required to pay $299.
to get it unlocked. I failed to notice their display ad did not have an address so they may be pulling this scam nationwide.
- Possible scam
Preferred solution: I feel I have been scammed would like to expose them
User's recommendation: Beware of Geeks on Site. If they tell you to go to your computer and follow their instructions hang up.
I signed up for your service and was charged 3 times.
- No confirmation of three charges or services purchased.
- Only a welcome email was received; Walter said details would be provided at signup on 5-28-19.
Why have I not received any confirmation, detailing what these three charges are? And what the services are that I purchased.
The only thing I received is a welcome email what does not say anything. I was told by Walter that I would receive this information when I signed up on 5-28-19
