Wheel protection plan
- I asked about a wheel protection plan for my 2019 GTI.
- Dealer said it must be bought at purchase.
- The rep who took my call was very polite.
I went to my VW dealer because I was remembering that the sales man mentioned a wheel and tire protection Plan when I purchased my 2019 GTI on January 27.
So I went back to Gebhardt VW here in boulder Colorado to enquirer about buying this wheel protection plan extended warranty.The dealer called VOLKSWAGEN and told me that I couldnt purchase it now, because this had to be purchased when I purchased the car. But the car is only a month old and only has 600 miles on it.
Technically the car only has 500 miles on it, because when bought it and drove it off the lot it already had 115 miles on it.
As a Volkswagen consumer Im very un happy with this policy and with all the Bad press Volkswagen has gotten in the passed due to their emissions scandal you would think they would try to find a way to acomódate their customers.
P.S. The Girl who took my call did a fantastic job and was extremely polite.
