Ge Money Bank Loan Review

On September 1oth 2014 I signed up for a loan of 5,000. The agent by the name of tammy told me I needed to make a payment cause I had low credit. A payment of $228 so the bank can see it.so I made the payment.next day I still didn't receive my loan. I called ge back and let them know I have not received my loan yet they told me they sent it to the wrong card and I have to pay the bank $196.15 so they can fix it and transfer my loan to the right card. So I did but still my loan didnt come.so I called ge again and the agent tammy tells me that the money won't transfer into my debit card and that they gotta western union the money but I gotta pay $235 for a western union card so I can get my loan. I said no I refuse to pay ge bank more money just to get my loan and told them I believe they was running a scam on me and I wanted to cancel my loan and get my $650 back . And ge bank tells me its a $200 cancelation fee. But I still didnt get my loan or my money back and I am very pissed off and I will file a lawsuit asa soon as possible and I would like for someone from ge bank to get in contact with me

Literally 100's of harassing calls.

Have been averaging 7-8 calls a day from GE Credit from up to 3 different numbers on a single day. Within a few minutes of 8:00 am, every morning the calls start, one can almost set their watches by these conniving losers. Over the last 3 months, I estimate that they have called roughly 500+ times. If this is not the most blatant, obvious and pathetically puerile attempt at harassment, I challenge you to expose a more grievous example. Note: Have the screen shots of my phone record to prove my assertions! Called the GE snakes repeatedly, and finally explained to a supervisor that they were in violation of federal collection standards, and cited the appropriate statute. I also told them never to call again. This was about 100+ calls ago. The human dregs at GE make a mockery of all legitimate collection services. They spit on us and in the face of the Government that purports to be our protector from such outrageous and illegal activities.

I was scamed by GE just like the rest of you. they called saing I was approved for 5 thousand dollars.

They said I had to send 95 dollars for processing fees I did that then when the money didnt show I called back and they said I need to pay for insurance of 148.00 I did that waited for the money and when it didnt come I called back they wanted 110 dollars to wire the money. I told them that I am not sending any more money and I wanted my 243 dollars back. At that point they said I would get it back in 45 days. I let them know at this point I found this web site and saw that I wasnt the only one.

After all this they have the nerve to call me back and tell me that they canceled my loan and would send my money back in 45 days I doubt that will happen.

But I guess 243 dollars later we wise up. If any one out there has found a way to put a stop to this email me or has found a way to sue the *** out of them please email me at blewis4350@***.com

GE Money Bank Loan Scam

June 7th 2014: I had been applying for loans online and received a phone call from an unrecognized number appearing to be from Texas. It was "Mark Johnson" from VALoans congratulating me on an accepted loan application. After talking over the details he stated that since I have poor credit I need to load a fee of $117 onto a Vanilla Reload Network Card. Having done research prior I was skeptical but "Mr. Johnson" assured me that withing 30 minutes I would see the 4000 dollars. I then get a call from "GEMoneyBank" stating that I need to purchase another Vanilla Reload Network Card for a $200 transfer fee. Stupidly I went along with them and made the purchases when what do you know 20 minutes later a call comes in and the representative from this so called bank is telling me that the 200 on the card was blocked by Vanilla and that they cannot process the loan. Furious I freaked out and yelled and left nasty messages when they wouldnt pick up my calls. The next day I get a call from the "Chief Financial Executive" of GEMoneyBank apologizing and making sure that I still wanted the loan, etc. Requested 200 more dollars and I told him I only had 100. He agreed and as of today I am out $417 BUT I have filed a police report and intend on pursuing this further because these lowlifes take advantage of people in need and screw them BIG TIME. If anyone could assist me in what steps I should next take that would be amazing. Thanks so much!

You will find attached six documents all from "The Big Three" now known as "The Big Four". Why our state & federal governments allow this corporation to conduct "Illegal Buisness Practices" allow them to change there name several times is beyond me.

Why The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau was created your guess is as good as mine. This is the most useless & clueless government agency that has ever existed that we tax payers are paying for. This agency is so "Clueless" that a couple of months ago I posted a complaint on there website about them. They sent me an email told me they would get in contact with the company & get back to me.

What?

They also closed several complaints on many different types of laws that "The Big Four" have broken according to what is listed on state & government websites. They actually sent one of my many complaints about "The Big Three" to a company not listed in any of several complaints!

This is the first time I have made a payment online with my Pay Pal Balance & I just can't believe what I have been sent by "The Big Four". You can read the documents & make your own decision.

I usually mail in my payments & sometimes I put one penny or two pennies etc., more then the actual amount owed.

I have never received on any paper statement on any of these overpayments credited to my account. Where all those one penny two pennies three pennies etc., go is beyond me. But if you take one penny for every single person that has an account with any store along with this bank & add up all those pennies you get "Millions" who knows maybe "Billions" at this rate.

What made this even worse is that I have called "The Big Three" now "The Big Four" several times about what is stated online in my account & all I get is *** & nothing makes sense.

Not only do I get NOWHERE with the people who answer the phone in India, Asia, South America, The Philippines & Tin Buck Two. When I asked to be connected to someone in the United States one person puts me on hold then I get disconnected have to call back & go through all the *** dialing the number putting in my pass codes etc., several times I'm finally told by a woman in India that they can't transfer me to The United State that I have to keep calling until I get someone in The United States! This was at 2:10 pm time in The United States! Another important note is that my "AVAILABLE CREDIT HAS ALWAYS BEEN $1600.00 when I do not owe money.

But as you can see here it only goes to $1599.00! DESEASE

Unfortunately it wasn't GE, it was someone acting like them and trying to get you to send them money that couldn't be recouped. Unfortunately, you fell victim to a Nigerian scam.

They continue to ask for money until you finally tell them you can't any more with the hopes that one day they will finally send it. No bank will ever ask you to send money before they send you loan proceeds, and if someone does RUN!!!

I received a check for the amount of $272.10, first I tough it was a scam but after I went through my statements found out that this was a refund from Toys r Us from a previous purchase I made and decided to return later. So instead of throwing the check, take a moment a review all your statements from all your credit cards, try to match the account number and you will figure it out. I agree that the check looks suspicious but after doing my investigations and math I'm a satisfy customer. Good Luck and Blessings (=

Beyond pissed

I have gotten calls from these people multiple times over the past year. About once a week maybe 2 weeks. Every time the person asks for a girl named Jamie, whom I've never met. I've told them to stop calling, take my number off of their list. They say ok and then what do u know a wk or so later they call again. And always from a different number. But today was the LAST straw! Beginning at 11:30 this morning they started calling. It is now 6:45 and so far I have received 36 calls! 36 calls from 21 different numbers in the last 7 hours or so. Most of the time ive ignored. A couple times I answered and told them to stop, said I was reporting them. And its the same guy EVERY SINGLE TIME. I asked for the company he was with and he said GE money Bank. And that I was approved for a $3,500 Loan. Does anyone know what I can do to stop this? I called the Attorney Generals office they transferred me to a number and I talked to a woman and filed a complaint but still keep getting these calls.

Paypal smart connect screwed me

So I opened up a paypal account and apparently in automatically signed me up for a paypal smart connect without even notifying me. Three months later after making several purchases making sure that it was coming out of my bank account I had on file, GE Money Bank sent me a statement saying I owed them $330. I called customer service and told them my situation. I got transfered to six different people telling me that they had established a line of credit without my knowledge telling me I had signed some magical document, on the internet mind you, authorizing them to give me a 400 dollar credit limit. I spoke to a manager, pleaded my case, but in the end all I got told is that I had to pay it back no matter what. So now Im stuck paying for $300 that I didnt spend and noone seems to be doing anything about it. Somebody needs to stop this bank from screwing people over. I've read several reviews on google on how they have done the same thing to thousands of other people.

I noticed at the bottom of this post that these Crooks want to make things right. Well, don't hold your breath.

If this bank & this credit card wanted to make things right it would not keep happening yet it does under every single name change they have had. Now Synchrony Bank is the new name they go by even this new name has judgments against them. They don't care if they did it would not keep happening. They never credit my account with overpayments where they go is beyond me.

Lock Card Doing Tax refund

I don't believe the government would stand by and approve a company to freeze funds coming from the government. If they direct deposit fund to account, who are you to then freeze the account. As if you are the FBI. I don't see how the WalmartMoneyCard System have the power to do that. And use the reason for security. After the IRS has done their deposit. They are getting away with things and people are standing around like its ok. This is wrong. GE Money Bank need to be investigated by the government. They freeze tax every year. For their purpose. You are not inform that they would do this.

GE Money Bank Raised payment

So I have a paypal smart connect account with GE money bank, not only did I not have the knowledge that I had even opened one of these, but I didn;t figure it out three months later on down the road that I even had a payment due. Now because they're system wasn't accepting my payment whenever I first tried, it was late because of this glitch and now they want an extra ten dollars every month because of this. When I called them they gave me the run around for twenty minutes and when I asked to speak to a supervisor they just kept me on hold for an extra thrirty minutes. I knew the supervisor was there and not busy because my first called was answered within minutes. I have had several problems with this institution, nothing but a bunch of low life ***.

If GE Capital Retail & Pay Pal were truly sorry the same thing would not happen yet it does. It does under the name GE Money Bank, GE Capital Retail Money Bank & GE Capital Retail Bank which now goes by the name Synchrony Bank.

It is the fourth name change. Go check out the You Tube clip I made with what one of their Employee's put in several "Rebuttals" on Rip-Off Report number 140625. My dying 7 year old's life was treated as a joke by a supervisor named Sam

WORST DAY EVER! I just dealt with THEE WORST supervisor I've ever experienced in my entire life! She lied to me about there not being a corporate number because she didn't want me to tell about her numerous other lies. Then when I told her the call was being recorded, she said they just couldn't transfer to corporate today. What she didn't know is that we had been told numerous lies and discrepancies from several people in her company previously and we had contacted an atty who wanted a file of this. The call with all her lies and back peddling was recorded. We already had the corporate number, we just needed record of yet another representative lying saying their was no corporate number. This supervisor's name was either Sam or Pam. My daughter is dying with Leukemia with one month to live. There was a triple transaction on my card from a merchant that I normally pay ONCE, every week. They could clearly see this was a mistake. We couldn't afford to wait for the transaction to post because the money was needed to get her home. She told me that I would have to wait until the 19th. She kept lying, saying corporate wasn't taking calls today and she could not transfer my call or provide me with the number. She said the only thing she could do was request a call back from corporate for me. I AM LIVID! How could someone be so heartless. My daughter was given one month to live and they would allow her to spend her time left with her family. I needed that money to bring her home with us! This woman could care less! She continued to talk over me and ignore me. I've never been treated so bad in my life! I made sure I recorded her telling me she COULD NOT transfer me to corporate and that they WERE NOT taking calls today. After I had her clarify this, I got right off the phone and dialed 866-652-****. This is the corporate number that is EVERYWHERE online, yet the supervisor said she could not give me this number or transfer me to this number. I want EVERYONE to know what kind of people are working in this company! I know the calls are recorded and I need someone in charge to hear this phone call. I will be allowing the media to hear this call as well. The way she almost mocked me and my daughter's situation as I cried, telling her my baby was dying and I needed to know my options for retrieving my money was traumatizing! I never knew people like this existed. She refused to assist me in any way. The situation was resolved in about five minutes after I spoke with a corporate supervisor who appeared as angel compared to her. I need this to be heard. I have been working in Customer Service for 15 years. There are some people who are there because they have a heart and strong desire to help people. Others like P/Sam are just there to collect a check and don't care about anyone's personal problems! She doesn't deserve to be in customer service and I won't stop until she no longer is! This is wrong and everyone will know the name and face of the person who thought it would be cool to deny the mother of a dying 7 year old the assistance in getting her little girl home to spend what very well, may be her last holiday with her family! How cruel! I'm still crying, even though the issue was resolved by someone else. I just can't believe she treated me this way! Something WILL be done! Mark my words! There's this thing called empathy and compassion, I don't care if you're having a *** day, some things should just be in your DNA. Supervisor Pam or Sam whatever her name is, lacks this trait! Absolutely the worst bank I have ever used.

As I walked into the Kawasaki dealer, I was excited. This was to be my new transportation and a fun one at that. We went through the paperwork and all was going well until I was hit with a crazy high interest rate from the bank. My credit is very good and the rate should have been much lower. But, I was stuck. GE was the only one the dealer would use. After eating my discontent I got my motorcycle. Since then I realized the appalling mistake I made. GE is the only bank I know of to not allow any online services for loans. I mean none what so ever. To setup auto pay you have to go to your bank and try to get them to put all your information on paper with their letterhead or GE will not take it. You can call in your payments, but they hit you with a large fee. If you send a payment but it gets delayed in the mailing they hit you instantly with a fee almost a quarter of your payment then they call you early in the morning to say well that's on you. I checked with another bank to buy the loan out and switch to them, my interest will be a quarter of what GE is using to rip me off. Never, ever use this company. They are money hungry and create the worst possible customer experience.

No Notice

Got switched from Sam's Club credit to GE Money Discover Card without any options. After charging on the new card, I never got any notices about when the payment was due. When I remembered to check on my own, I set up the payment for the due date stated on the site. A week later, they e-mailed me stating that I was late, I owed penalties, and my credit rating may be impacted. WTF? Where the heck was that e-mail stating my original payment due date? Of course, there is no method to reply to the e-mail I received, and who has time to sit on hold for and being transferred from CSR to CSR for hours on end.

Lowes Credit Card (GEMoneyBank) created Fraudulent Account

I have disputed this with Equifax and so far nothing! In the past week I have filed complaints online or by mail to my state AG office, the FTC, the Office of Thrift Supervision, the local BBB, the national BBB, Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, my states Department of Finance, Equifax, and I plan to continue with sites and blogs similar to this one. I have made many copies of my complaint and supporting documents so I can keep this up until I am completely satisfied.

SPECIAL NOTE: The FTC publishes guidelines for filing a credit dispute at http://www.consumer.ftc.gov/articles/0151-disputing-errors-credit-reports.

If the reporting agency doesn't resolve your dispute, you have the right to ask them to add a statement of your dispute to your file, and they must comply. If the credit reporting agency makes the correction to your file, you can ask them to send notices of the correction to anyone who received your report in the past 6 months, and any employer that received your report in the past 2 years.

After my husband filed for a personal bankruptcy, GE Money Bank FSB / Lowes added my name to his credit account so they could try to collect his debt from me. They reported the delinquent payments on my husbands account to the credit reporting agencies in my name. After that they sold the account to Portfolio Recovery Associates (in my name) for collection. At that time, Portfolio Recovery began sending collection notices to me and also reported the collection to all three of the credit bureaus. Even though I repeatedly disputed the account with the credit bureaus and GE Money Bank FSB / Lowes, as well as Portfolio Recovery, the derogatory reporting has continued for three years now. This has prevented me from refinancing auto loans, obtaining new credit, buying a home, and from establishing most other credit I attempted. This is the only derogatory report on my credit. On October 2, 2011, I received a letter from GE Money Bank FSB / Lowes apologizing for the error and stating that the dispute was completely resolved. It also said to save the letter as a written confirmation that a request to the credit agencies had been sent to have the erroneous report removed. However, after Portfolio Recovery removed their derogatory report, and I thought this was all over, GE Money Bank FSB / Lowes fabricated a different account number and re-reported it to all three credit reporting agencies. The collection amount being reported is the same, but they changed the account number so it wouldn't match the number in the letter they sent me stating it had been completely resolved. This is clearly fraud and yet Equifax has added the derogatory report back onto my credit. I was not a party to my husbands account with GE Money Bank FSB / Lowes. After providing a notarized copy of my signature to Portfolio Recovery, so they could compare it with Lowes records, Portfolio Recovery removed the negative report from my credit because GE Money Bank FSB / Lowes could not produce a signed credit agreement. After which GE Money Bank FSB / Lowes began appearing on my credit report again. Apparently Portfolio Recovery rejected the fraudulent account, and GE Money Bank FSB / Lowes got it back. When I tried to resolve this by phone with one of their representatives, I was told that GE Money Bank FSB / Lowes no longer had access to the account information. Yet it has been reported to Equifax again. Be very wary of opening any charge account with Lowes.

I don't know how this company can come after you for your husbands account. I also don't understand why this fkupd scrwup disgusting nasty Lowe's and GE Capital Retail Bank can actually hold their heads up?

They do this all the time they can not get their heads out of there asssessss. Sue them, sue the collection agency, sue the credit bureaus, sue Lowes and sue GE. I just don't understand how they can go after you if it is just in your husbands name. Find out who the attorney's were for the woman that just won millions from the Three Credit Bureau Reporting Agencies for not correcting or taking off BOGUS info.

It would be nice if all these companies that use GE as there bank for credit cards got a wake up call telling the companies that if they continue to do business with this disgusting bank they will lose all of there customers that have credit cards with them. These crooks Lowe's and GE need to be slapped in the face and be made an example of that they do not have all the power. Oh, by the way there isn't any comment from either Lowes or GE Capital Retail Bank listed with the little man at the typewriter who's name is Nicole, so maybe you aren't that important I know I'm not and My story is much bigger and worse then yours. GE Capital Retail Money Bank has changed its name Three (3) times first name GE Capital, second name GE Capital Money Bank and the third change GE Capital Retail Money Bank. As you can see they always have the word "MONEY" in their name and they should really have "MONEY" in their name because that is all that matters to them!

You don't I don't and millions of people out there don't. They use all the tricks in the book plus make up their own! If you want to see just how BAD they are go and look at the documents that I have uploaded and you will see they have gotten totally out of control. The agencies state and federal can't even keep up with their "Crooked Tactics".

In fact they are so brazen they actually called Bank of America a lier even when showed the document of where they WIPED out my account without my permission! They lied to the District Attorney's Office in Santa Clara, CA! This is the way they make their BILLIONS! They have a lot of pull with someone high up to get away with what they are doing and have been doing for years to the consumers.

Someone's pockets are getting lined by this corrupt bank who makes money anyway they can and they don't care how they do it or who they squash on the way to continuing to make their "BILLIONS"! Go to "Crook-A-Titus" and "*** Titus" Disease and you will see ACTUAL documents with their BOLD FACE LIES! Heck "The Consumer Financial Protection Agency” which I refer to as “The Confused Financial Pissonyou Bureau” they actually sent one of my complaints on this crooked bank to another company! Which was mentioned NO WHERE IN MY COMPLAINT!

This Screwed up Agency has been in business since 2011 and is DOING NOTHING to stop THE CORRUPTION they allow this bank to get away with! They see nothing wrong with this type of business practice. You can see this in the actual documents I have uploaded to this website. This agency “The Confused Financial Pissonyou Bureau” was founded in 2011 for “Reform on Wallstreet” well I guess the new reform on wallstreet was created so that banks like GE Capital Retail Money Bank that handles credit cards for “Wallmart”, JC Penny, Target, etc.

just go online and see just how many merchants let this bank *** and then go and look at how much they BRAG about making its “BILLIONS” at the consumers expense. Yes, Frank and Dodd which this agency was created for are real reform all right real reform! What a joke! Believe it or not your screwed along with all the rest of the consumers who get sucked into this EVIL bank and the EVIL government agencies that give them “CART BLAC” to make up their own rules, regulations, late fees, charging illegal amounts etc.!

They even change their late fee amounts from $25.00 and $35.00 to $15.95! They tell you to pay more then you owe and when you do they don't apply the whole amount, unbelievable really? So, we have to get it out there to let people know NOT to do business with businesses that associate with this “EVIL CORRUPT *** BANK”! This agency which has been in business since 2011 doesn't care how they do business!

This agency was created to help the consumer. Well, when you go and research who created it you will find that this agency is called “The Wall Street Reform Act” created by Frank and Dodd! Now do I need to tell you more! In fact ALL those documents that have been uploaded are A-OK with all the agencies The Office of the Comp Controller, The Department of Financial Institutions, The Federal Trade Commission, The Department of Justice etc., these agencies have turned over my complaints to these idiots at The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau which by the way police themselves, now need I say more?

They are even more A-OK with “The Confused Financial Pissonyou Bureau”. Money talks if you don't have it your screwed! That is what “Corporate America” continues to achieve anyway they can and anyone they can bribe to continue to get away with it and believe me they do! The POWER is with the people the consumer.

If we can not use credit cards that this “EVIL BANK” is associated with then maybe we can win!

Hit them where it hurts and that is their “BILLIONS” or “MONEY” which they have kept in all their name changes. Which I'm positive that they have made illegally.

If you really want them to know you mean what you say then please go to my posted complaints that start with "The Crook-A-Titus Disease and "The *** Titus Disease" and that "The Disease is Spreading" and read the documents that are from this CRooKEd BANK which has changed their name three (3) times from GE Money Bank, GE Capital Money Bank and now GE Capital Retail Money Bank. As you will see they do have the word MONEY in all three name changes. They just love that money, more money more money and more money and they steal and lie and that is the way they make their BILLIONS! Money is not the Root of all Evil The Root of all Evil is to love money" and they do that real well.

Not one single penny that they have made has been honest! This is the Worst Corporate America rip-off ever in this country the absolute worst! They have India, South America, the Philipines etc., etc. to help them make the illegal billions that they make!

File complaints with The Department of Justice, The Office of the Comp Controller, The Department of Financial Institutions, The BBB, The FDIC, The District Attorneys Office where GE's corporate office is located, The Federal Trade Commission, The Consumer Affairs Office for Unfair Business Practices and if you file with the wrong agency then they will tell you in writing what agency to send your complaint to. Don't file a complaint with The Consumer Financial Proction Bureau they have no ClUe what they are doing they send complaints to companies not even mentioned in the complaint! Now how intelligent is that plus they can't read nor do math! I have given The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau the name of "The Confused Financial Pissonyou Bureau!

BEcause that is what they are CONFUSED! They DO know how to make MoRe MoNeY and they don't care how they get it they live and operate on their own rules always have and always will. In my opinion there is more going on here for this type of Corruption to be where it is now with this bank to be so bold as to just flaunt this type of business practice in people's faces which is as corrupt as it can be for it to have gotten to this point! Yep, something more is going on here.

GE has the disease of "Crook-A-Titus" and Pay Pal Smart Connect has the disease of "*** Titus"! What is sad is that its spreading to other banks and credit card companies and starting to get out of control in the worst way.
