Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with product or service ordered. Customer Service Rep "Holly' helped resolve the issue.

She was GREAT! Part number received and is now on order.

I contacted GE Healthcare in response to a Recall Notice involving the batteries on our GE Vivid 6S Ultrasound unit. The Recall Notice says the batteries need replaced every two years.
In several attempts to obtain part numbers for the batteries, I was kept on hold listening to messages stating a high call volume.

I called other GE numbers and they kept sending me back to the original number.
I'm STILL waiting on hold for customer service! It's been well over 90 minutes and I NEED the part number so I can order batteries.

I have other things to do and being kept waiting isn't helping.
This isn't the first time I've been having issues with GE. I'm the Biomedical Engineer at this hospital and I'm also having difficulty getting them to include me on their email list for Radiology and Ultrasound service reports and PM Inspection reports so I can keep my service records up to date for when the Joint Commission and/or State come in to inspect the facility.

Preferred solution: Better customer service in the line of FASTER responses to phone calls!

User's recommendation: I don't know. Maybe buy from Philips from now on?

Problem finally solved. It took 5, as in FIVE hours to finally get hold of a field engineer who gave me the part number.
