Theft of my money

AI Highlights
  • - Gatorguard LLC (Leafguard) epoxy coats concrete floors; operates in OH/IN/MI/KY.
  • - Indiana owner John D Chambers; I canceled before work; they kept my money.

This company Gatorguard LLC aka known as Leafguard puts epoxy coating on concrete floors. They operate in Ohio, Indiana, Michigan and Kentucky.

The local owner here in Indiana is John D Chambers. I cancelled them in a timely manner and before they started any work or gave me any materials. They still kept my money and did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING and did not incur any damages. They did not supply any materials or labor--nothing.

When I ask the office lady what were keeping my money for when they have done nothing--no materials or labor. The office lady could not say what it was for. They came out they had my estimate on a tablet for homeowner to confirm but when they send the "hard" several additional papers are inserted that were not presented on the allegedly "free" estimate appointment.

Any company that take money for doing nothing in my opinion are thieves and probably may not have much work if they have to steal money from consumers as is my "opinion" they stole my money. I found them to be 3 time higher than other companies in the area providing the same service

Loss:
$351
Cons:
  • Slippery contract
  • Too high
  • Unethical

Preferred solution: Full refund

User's recommendation: Absolutely not. I recommend avoid thing like the plague
