All financial issues between Gary M Kaplan, C.P.A., P.A. and me have been resolved to my complete satisfaction and I am happy with the accounting and tax preparation work performed by Gary M.Kaplan, C.P.A., and Gary M.Kaplan, C.P.A., P.A.
I hired Gary to file my business and personal taxes, for which he quoted would be $1500 after reviewing all of the different aspects of my business. After being passed around between himself and his assistant for month after month, his assistant finally emailed me telling me my taxes were ready. Gary sent what they had me understand was my final invoice of $1500+, for which I paid in full. His assistant sent me an email saying my taxes were ready.
I was then contacted again in order to try and get me to add more of their services, but I declined. A few weeks later, I get two new invoices with a total of more than $2000. When I asked Gary to explain this, he had no answers, other than to say it was a miscommunication, your taxes were never ready.
How do you demand an additional $2000 after telling your client the work is done? It's inconceivable

Sounds like a pattern with Gary Kaplan's questionable billing pratices
