Verified ReviewerProduct not working
I bought Quick-Fill at Lowe’s. I have used it before.
The product would not pour out, despite several attempts. No contact number on container, so I looked on-line and got this. One person answered after 10 minutes, but it wasn’t his job, said he would transfer me to technical support (???). All I got was nothing.
Three calls later and unable to call n tact anyone or even a recorder, I returned the product to Lowe’s.
On the phone it stated I could leave a call back number instead of waiting. Got “cut off” each time.
Have not got a hold of anyone except someone who could not help me and sent me to technical support. Dropped call.
Terrible Product, Rude Costumer Service
- - Promised walkable after 1 hour, but it wasn't.
- - Rain washed away; driveway damaged and needs re-application; cost about $700; slow, rude service.
The product claimed that it is able to be walked on after an hour which is not true at all. Even hours later that night it was still not walkable.
The next day it rained and almost everything washed off. I did all the steps correctly to prepare for the application of the product and there are obvious areas of damage, but the whole driveway needs re-applied. Not only did I waste a whole day of work but I lost about $700.00 on a product that was not what it claimed.
When I contacted the company to file a claim, they took a long time to respond and more importantly, they are very very very rude. NEVER buy this product because it does NOT work and its a waste of money.
Drive 5 driveway sealer washed off and ruined my garage.
- - Rain washed off the product after two days, ruining my garage.
- - They claimed I applied in rain, not true, and failed to stand by the product.
Contacted the company after applying the product and two days later rain washed it offand it splashed up and ruined my garage and doors. Was hoping for info on how to clean it and after numerous contacts, form filling out, received a letter in the mail stating that they are sorry and said I applied it during rain which is not the truth.
Product stated 36 hours prior and I did so. They do not stand by their products, and did not communicate well.
I have photos, but am unable to upload. Now I wasted money and have a new pole barn with black spots!!

This Company, the Products & The Warranty SUCK
- - Coating peeled after seven months.
- - Warranty requires photos and a long debrief form.
- - The reviewer recommends using a product from another company.
Like the first reviewer, my coating peeled after 7 months. Maddening enough, but the "Satisfaction Guaranteed" Warranty means you have to take & send multiple photos, and fill out a 1,000 question debriefing form, all so they can deny you followed the directions, and tell you to get bent.
Save your money, and like me, your even more valuable time removing this *** after it fails!
I'm now faced with not only re-doing the driveway, but I now have to get all of this mostly peeling *** off, so the real product will adhere.Use a product from any other company- these folks will poke you where the sun don't shine. (NOT KIDDING!)

Warranty Review
- - Product didn't last six months.
- - Warranty claim required two coats to validate coverage.
- - A claim was filed under the warranty.
Dont waste your money!!!!! I live in TN and dont have bad winters and product didnt last 6 months.
I too filed a claim and was told I had to apply two coats to validate the warranty. I do not recommend!!
Black Jack Driveway Sealer
- - The Black Jack Driveway sealer is worthless and the warranty isn't honored.
- - The product didn't last one winter; a claim was denied for cold.
The Black Jack Driveway sealer manufactured by Garner-Gibson Company is a worthless product and the company is ever more worthless. They have a 5 year warranty for their product but when you submit a claim they do not honor it.
The product didn't last one winter. When I submitted the claim they said it was too cold when I applied it, when I followed thier directions word or word. Thier directions say to apply the product when it is above 65 degrees.
They denied my claim by saying it got below 65 overnight. What a piece of *** company.

A several years ago this company and others started taking out chemicals that helped these sealers and patch harden/dry because they are considered VOCs. I don't see how a product that dries slower, peels or disintegrates faster is better for the environment.
Most stores sell the same crap with similar formulas Years ago most sealers initial dry would be around 4 hours and be ready for traffic in 24-36 hours. Now 60 hours later the sealers and patches are still soft and tacky.
