Splice kit that does not fit wire.
Their splice kit, item number HSB-28 is listed ro fit 8-2 AWG wire and does not fit to 2 AWG solid wire. While the wire does insert, after inserting there is no way to start the screw because the solid wire is too large.
It does not allow the screw to reach the threads. Try it and see. Pretty sad because I drove 20 miles to get this splice kit to make an emergency repair. PLEASE TEST YOUR PRODUCTS!
Its not complicated. This cost me a lot of time and frustration.
