Poor customer service

There was a wrong price label on the item. When the Cashier asked the supervisor to confirm price, she was very rude to me when I tried telling her the aisle it was and when I tried to go with her.

Then she moved the price sticker, and then she tried to take me to show the price on the shelves. Not only that, she was extremely rude and yelling at me. Her tone was not pleasant at all as a supervisor.

When I asked to speak with mgr, she refused to get one. Horrible experience as I am a regular customer and go to garden fresh 23 times a week.

I asked "Freddie" several times to keep his voice down - in order not to create a scene. Every time I did so, his voice got louder.

He also told me.

"You don't hear good". That was when I decided to leave and contact you instead.

In the 10+years I have shopped at your Mundelein (400 E Townline Rd) store, I have never been subjected to the kind of rude treatment I got at 11:04 am on Saturday, May 9, 2020, from your cashier (who gave me his name as "Freddie"; the receipt shows "ZOE"). I went through his register with a few produce items.

He didn't;'t seem to know the names of some items, and kept asking the adjacent cashier. As I couldn't recognize one of the items I was charged for, I asked what the item was. "Freddie" raised his voice and said the name which I couldn't understand. When I asked again, he pulled the item from the bag and waved it in front of my eyes, again talking loudly.

When I asked for his name, he shouted it out again, and asked if I would like his or the corporate phone No.

When I said "No", and was leaving, he shouted behind me in a sarcastic tone, "Have a nice day". He just created an unnecessary scene.

Wrong prices taken at the register

Garden Fresh have just advertised Bashkirian honey for 11.99 with pictures of the organic brand in the advertising. When I picked the item and went to the register to pay, I was chared $16.99.

The manager at the Mundelien location told me that picture of the honey jar posted on the Garden Fresh advertisement is incorrect. She refused to sell it for the advertised price. This is not a good way to treat customers. I have had the same issue with other products too but never complained but this time decided to share my experience on this site.

I wish management will do something to make customer experience better.

Wrong prices

Almost every time I shop here, I find them charging me higher prices than what it should be on so many items. Manager Chris admitted that they make mistakes, but doesn't seem to think it is a big deal.

I watch my register like a hawk, but I can't imagine how much they deceive other consumers. When customers find an error, apologize for wasting their time and thank them for correcting. Don't make customer stand too long on customer service stand if you are not doing anything. I find most of the employees feel they are doing me a favor by giving me a correct price.

Sad and rude service.

p.s. make sure you don't sell produce with fungus and molds, even on clearance cart

You made a mistake. In one of your sentences you forgot to double space.

See even you make mistakes. Should I keep bashing you for this? You seem to think that it is acceptable bash people who makes mistakes so I should be able to bash you for the mistake you made. Also most likely the manager is not just doing anything.

Most likely he is dealing with other issues. The world does not revolve around you. You need to grow up and wait your turn.

Another mistake you made. Sad and rude service is not a full sentence.

A sentence needs a subject and an action.

This is taught in the first grade.

Third mistake you made, in your last sentence you did not use a period. See even you make mistakes.

Since you made three mistakes in your review I feel that you should apologize for making those mistakes and thank me for correcting them.

The mistake was solved why are you still complaining. Would you like it if you made a mistake and people kept on nagging you about it?

Why is a young child such as yourself shopping yourself. I know you are a child because you mistake not getting what you want as rude.

You do realize this site was created so people could review businesses, right? Actually, if there's a problem with how items ring up and it's different than the stated price, it's not a mistake, it's a crime.

The U.S. has an entire department devoted to making sure you aren't being baited and switched or misled.

It's called Weights and Measures.
