I went for breakfast this morning with my husband, this restaurant has changed hands and we thought we would give it a go. In summary there were six staff, five hungry diners and it still took 40 minutes for my eggs benedict to arrive!!

Three of the worst waitresses I have ever seen, only interested in chatting to each other. An order came up which given the circumstances is a freaking miracle and it took two dings on the bell to get one of them to detangle herself from the other two waitresses and deem to take a plate three paces to its intended victim whoops sorry I meant diner. My issue was with the eggs benedict. The cook (and I use that term lightly and wrongly at the same time) poured the hollandaise over my sad eggs only to discover that the sauce had split.

I then watched in fascination as the head cook (again wrongly described) deemed to get off his iPhone and attempt to put the sauce back together. They failed miserably but still gave it to me anyway. I refused to eat it and the assassin refused to give me a refund. In short enter at your own risk and only if you have a lot of time to kill and/or be killed.

Bad news for the restaurant (again a loose term) is that I am a local and I spend all day, every day talking with other locals. Best of luck
