In Spring 2023, I called phone support with an issue with a cancelled order, & not receiving order emails. I was told that because I originally registered under a different email & they had changed it previously, I would need to make a new account.

They would then transfer all points to the new account. He told me to wait until all of my orders had been shipped, as he was afraid it may cause an issue with my orders being cancelled accidentally. He said no to worry, that my points wouldnt expire as long as my account wasnt inactive for months. I have been using my account every month.

Cut to recently, in November and December. I tried to cash out all of my points, & I noticed that 30k+ were missing. It also wouldnt send the code to my email that was needed to cash them out. I tried several times.

I then tried calling, but the wait was over 45 minutes. I tried calling again today, & I unfortunately got Alan. I asked about my points, & he said that they had changed their policy in December, & my points were gone forever, & I couldnt get them back. He said that I had over 80k, & now only had 30k.

I told him exactly what I was told in Spring, about the new account & about my points being guaranteed to be safe. He refused to answer, & told me that he sent me a password reset. Why would he send me a password reset when I already have access to my account? A password reset is absolutely useless, as I can log in perfectly fine.

I just cannot get emails to my account. According to them previously, that email goes to my OLD email. I dont think that Alan understood a word that I said about my account. I realize that support is outsourced to another country, but this is not acceptable.

The amount of points stolen was almost $55.

With how often preorders are late or canceled, stealing points, refusing to handle account access issues, and then refusing to stand behind their word is also unacceptable. Thanks to Alan, I will have to reach out to someone that knows how to do their job in order to cash out my remaining abysmal points.

I wont spend more money here again. Neither should you.

User's recommendation: Use your $5 monthly on free Pokémon cards and then sell them. Buy from Amazon. They won’t cancel your preorders, and their customer support always makes things right.

I ordered a game for my grandson for Christmas. The order was cancelled without any notification. I did not realize this until much too late to replace the gift. Now I am waiting on a refund that strangely WILL NOT INCLUDE THE SALES TAX I PAID. How can this be? I paid the tax on a product I never received, but when refunded for the product they get to keep the tax? Is this legal? I'm baffled .I will shop no more at GameStop

I'll never spend another dime at GameStop and I have three teenage sons so their loss. Waited 20 mins for someone to answer their phone lines only to have the guy laugh at me and talk to me like I was a child. Horrible customer service and hopefully the guy I talked to will be fired because he SUCKS at his job.

My son received a V bucks gift card for his birthday for 13,500 Vbucks. We have tried entering this code on the back of the card but he never got the Vbucks. So I tried again to enter the code, and it says the car is already in use. I am very upset because this was for my sons birthday.

I went to gamestop to return a preowned game it was within the 14 Days. I was told that I couldn't get a refund. I said it's within the time limit He says well the computer is telling Me no. Yeah ok. He just didn't want to do it. We ended up spending more money that what I paid. Honestly I don't know how They are still in Business. Never again I would rather go through Amazon.zero

They provide a tracking number but never give packages to carriers. After waiting past due date, they tell you they will investigate. After a few days, they tell you they are working on a resolution. They never resolve the issue, you will need to resolve with credit card company and do a chargeback. Buyers beware!¡!stat

I tried to give them a 2nd chance but it has happened TWICE... I pre-ordered a game expecting to receiving it on the release and the game was not even shipped when the release day came.

I attempted to cancel the order because what is the point of a PRE-ORDER i want THE GAME ON THE DAY IT RELEASES!! They told me i could not cancel. A week went by still no game... I contacted the post office and found out the carrier intercepted the package and it was returned to sender.

SO they did cancel and got the game back but they refuse to refund because it does not appear in "THEIR" system even though i have sent them emails and numerous proofs from USPS showing them the game was never sent to me it was returned to them. DO NOT PURCHASE GAMES ONLINE FROM THEM if you want to receive them.

So after I tried to return it there, I went to a different store to try to return it and the employee had called over to the other store to let them know not to serve anyone with a Rig 800 headset warranty exchange I bought the warranty so I could return it if it didnt fit and I cant even do that so thanks GameStop!!

This is a poor place to pupor get any information about a product or problem so I was told to put my tracking information into the FedEx app to track NO ONE KNEW WHAT TO DO store member which was a male was loud wouldnt let me get a word in How and who is running this store and co if u have ONE phone number BUT NO ONE ANSWERING Ilet it ring more then 10 time called 3 to 4 time I will NEVER purchase a game again and we tell anyone that will listen to not order on line

I purchased what I thought was a gift card what I got was a useless piece of cardboard. I've tried repeatedly to contact STEAM regarding their card security strip coming off with the numbers but because I do not have a STEAM account I can't get any help it shuts me down every time. No phone number to talk to a live person only a stupid BOT if you can get to it provided you have their account. So I'm out $150 more dollars thanks to GameStop and their lack of informing their customers.

I have tried canceling and refunding an order I was never able to pick up. I was told it wasnt a problem and would be refunded if I didnt pick it up in 7 days. You marked it as picked up and I dont have the game or the refund. This is terrible customer service and Im looking into legal action.

Unacceptable,unbliveable. If you buy a new console from gamestop with warranty, when you need it the most, they won't replace it with new console, only preowned console replacement, on top of that. Employee constantly want you to buy a pro membership, which is something i don't need. Since the new ceo and chairman took over, it has been totally unacceptable by what they do. I hate to say it, gamestop is about going out of business by what's they do?
