Verified Reviewer | Fort Wayne, IndianaResolved: Purchased a miniature, from the factory was missing foot .
Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. Emailed me and fixed the issue
I purchased a miniature from the storefront in Fort Wayne, Indiana. When putting together my miniature, I noticed that the right foot was missing from the start!
Super disappointed, as my little brother and I did the painting tutorial and wanted to start this new hobby. Unfortunately, if Games Workshop doesn't want to fix the issue, I will spend my money elsewhere.
I might even buy a 3D printer and fix their mess-up! This is not a good look for you, Games Workshop.
- If you pay for an item it should have all the components to build
Preferred solution: I just want to put this miniature together. Can’t really do that when he’s missing his right foot. I just want the right foot!
User's recommendation: There are far better customer service in other company’s that do 3D printed miniatures. Spend you’re money there!

Verified Reviewer | Georgetown, TexasHave not received Order #0159520****
I ordered this item November 14th and have not yet received it. Can you please tell me when I can expect my order?
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered
No worth it!!
Been playing the GW APP game Legion. Im done after today.
Just lost to a deck that had a Custodian as its warlord and the entire deck was CHAOS. That matchup isnt even allowed in any GW game.
No returns on defective products
I emailed Games Workshop asking for replacement parts on a mis-cast (i.e. defective) product and they told me that because I didn't have the receipt they wouldn't replace the part. You can see the damage in the photo and the product 'White Lion Chariot' is available on their website.
I can't see why you would ever give their products as gifts when you can't be sure of the quality and there isn't the expectation they will replace defective merchandise (unless you gift the receipt too).
The customer service (which I had good experience with several years ago) has clearly changed and they stopped replying after I pointed out there is no mention of needing a receipt and they are obliged under the NZ Consumer Guarantees Act to replace faulty products.
Pretty sure an expensive high-quality cast model which has been mis-cast counts as faulty.
Preferred solution: Replace the faulty parts
Games Workshop - Review in Entertainment category
Bad customer service by the manager of a Gamers workshop on the Northside of Brisbane. I used to be a regular in this particular shop I used to come in and build and paint my models and enter painting competitions as well as having the occasional game of 40k.
Lately the store manager has been yelling at me for no reason when I paint my models in front of other customers which is embarrassing and has put me off ever wanting to come back in and continue the hobbie which I enjoy. All I want to do is too be left alone too paint my models without being told I'm holding the paint brush wrong, don't dry brush like that you'll reck the brush and when the store manager says this his screaming at me he even snatched the paint brush out of my hand and threw it in a paint brush tin they have on the table and said I was not able to use it because I wasn't using the paint brush properly. As I was lead to believe staff are supposed to help in a calm manner with problems or difficulties that you may have with building and painting a model not scream at you throw your paintbrush and literally treat you as if your a school kid in school and his a teacher it has put me off ever going back there ever again and I'm not the only person he does it too there are other people who visit the shop regularly who get treated the same way which turns them off going there as well.
I understand its all about the business but how on earth is he suppose to get the "business" when he frightens customers even the regulars away with that behaviour screaming at customers instead of calmly helping them and telling them where they went wrong and teaching them the right techniques so they do not make that mistake again so he does not get aggressive, angrey and scream and yell that everyone in the entire shopping centre can hear him I've had enough of being treated like this I have now given up on the hobbie and have gone back to playing tin pin bowling. No affence to the other staff at Chermside Gamers workshop they have been understanding, helpful, supportive, positive and encouraging especially Wesley who understands us people with Aspergers syndrome who regularly visit the shop I appreciate everything he has done for us all and for me thankyou for listening.
Games Workshop - Not caring for their client
It's the third time GW showed that they don't care for their client in the past three months.
1) Asked to know if there would be new items to order in the next week. They said: "We don't know".
I bought other things the next day and after two days, new items were released.
2) I wanted to order something, it was out of stock and I asked to know if it would be in stock till the end of that week or not.
Their answer: "We don't know".
I bought other things and at the end of the week, it was back in stock.
3) Ordered two items. Only one arrived and now need to wait one week for the other one.

Non exsitant store and basically called a liar
i contacted gw because of a store listed on their store locator that didnt exist only to be told it is there, they get deliveries regularly, and they called the store owner. well, here is where it gets interesting, i drove by the location last week, there was a jewelry sore next door to the location but NO i repeat NO game store, gw cs said they called the store owner ( fair enough) but the store hours are listed as closed weekends and open 6 to 8 PM ( oklahoma time) and the call made to the store owner was made are roughly 3:30 ( oklahoma time).
so a quick call i get told that the number listed for the store was the owners cell ( excuse me???? i know several people who looked into getting a gw store or gw products in their store and they were told they could NOT use a cell it had to be a business listed land line phone). so in a nut shell GW policies and the treatment by gw customer service has put me off of their company and products and i would really encourage others into gw get out, or if you are looking at getting into it DONT.
cost is to high and customer service is a complete joke factor that in with the policies forcing you to go to a gw store/retailer or buy online directly through GW makes for a HUGE headache. the gw policy alone is pushing a lot of small retailers away from GW so soon you wont have any choice but buy direct and the prices are high enough now without that.
Games Workshop - Game Damages Fixing Review from Doylestown, Pennsylvania
Total ***. I am a fresh new gamer and the hobby is so appealing to play.
But it blows very very hard. I can't get anything nice for decent amounts of money and I can't grasp the new rules. The game is spiraling downhill faster than a focke-wulf 190 on fire. And that's saying something.
I barely played this game and to see it ruined as fast as I joined it was heart breaking. These people need to get their *** in gear and fix the damages. After kissing *** to the wrong codex armies and soiling their own poster child armies I think games workshop should throw in the towel. They are done.
Their CEO can go to ***. The writers are idiots for working outside their respected armies and the models cost more than a mortgage.
Price Gouging + Poor Service.
I recently started exploring playing Warhammer 40k with a few friends. I quickly learned that the company cares very little for its customer base as they have a monopoly on Warhammer retail products. They get a two out of five, quality being the only upside.
My Short List is as Follows:
-Extremely high prices.
-Extremely low quantity for the price(paint)
-Better quality products at a substantially lower price from competitors.
-Poor untimely Delivery of Products.
-Anti-consumer business practices.
The quality of the models are there and I have disposable income so I decided I would give warhammer 40k a shot. After researching I learned that the 100$ starter game does not come with the necessarily tools and paints to actually complete the models much less start building them. What they neglect to mention is that the starter paints and manual on how to paint cost you an additional 110$. So I went online and researched how professional warhammer painters get by and it turns out most use other brands that have a higher quality and lower price. I payed 50$ (including shipping) and got a better price and higher quality from a competitor. The pro youtube videos taught me a lot about quality painting as well. I couldn't however get the models cheaper because games workshop has an online monopoly. However I said that's ok as I get free shipping which will help offset some of the costs. My piecemealed paint and tool kit came within the week from 6 different suppliers. Three of those suppliers gave me free shipping, I am still waiting for my models from game workshop three weeks latter. I hear other people have the same problem and they tell them you should have paid extra for shipping. It will cost me a grand total of over 300$ to actually get my foot in the door. Thats excluding a gameboard to play on. I can't wait until home 3D printing kills their prices. Until then were all screwed if we want to actually play the game, games workshop is fine with that as they have inferred in the past.
Games Workshop Seattle Bunker
The store Manager James Long is a very pushy sales manager and have trained their staff to be the same. You can be a regular customer and it's nothing but "what do you need to buy today" "we can order it for you at the computer" Games Workshop Seattle Bunker has a messy gaming area, and allow unsupervised children all over the store.
The experience you get when you go there is that you need to buy something or your not welcome here. I would suggest going to independent retailer who sell the same product but with our the pressure sales.
