HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I purchased a gold necklace with a topaz pendant from Galaxy Gold, through the Amazon website.

The product was delivered on November 25. The sealed package was gift wrapped and given as a Christmas gift. Upon opening the sealed package, the chain was observed to have two knots in it and a defective clasp. Galaxy Gold advertised returns eligible until 01/31/2023, see attached.

Obviously, that was advertised to confuse people and give a loophole to charge restocking fees. I contacted Galaxy Gold through the Amazon website and sent a picture of the damage/defect, see attached. Galaxy Gold lectured me about waiting over a month to report a condition that was just recognized a few days ago. Galaxy Gold sent me their restocking fees for accepting damaged items (50%)and past 30 days (20%).

I contacted Amazon, who indicated that he would ask Galaxy Gold to reconsider their return offer because of the Christmas holiday, causing the delay of the product inspection. However, he explained that you are at the mercy of the seller, when buying from 3rd parties on Amazon.

As a result, Galaxy Gold resent their restocking fee schedule multiple times.

The lack of reasonableness during the holidays is a true sign that customer satisfaction is not a priority! I highly recommend staying away from this company.
