Highly Disappointment

Hi, I filed a claim back in December of 2023. My claim was assigned to adjuster Emma Soto and still to this date (2/26/24) I have never once spoken with her.

I have not received any emails and no call back whatsoever. I have only spoken with Paul Fowler (supervisor) and Jonathan Castillo (manager) once since my claim has been filed. I dropped my car off to the collision center on January 2, 2024, the first supplement was sent to Gainsco on January 4th and was not acted on until after I contacted Amy Brewer on January 24th, 2024. My car was sitting for over two weeks with no contact providing any type of update, despite the collision center reaching multiple times.

It only took eleven (11) working days to fix my car, however due to the poor handling of my claim it is going of two (2) months of me not having my vehicle. I am forced to pay for a rental car that really I should have never had to pay for to start with. I should have never reached my policy maximum ($1200) but I did because of the carelessness had surrounding my claim. My maximum was increased, however I am still having to pay for my rental's extra days as I wait on Gainsco to do their part.

This is very frustrating and costly, I pay almost $700 per month for insurance I am not understanding why my claim is being treated as if it not important. I'm losing more and more money waiting on people to do what they get paid to do. I am confused. I am having to wait even longer now because the appraiser sent the final payment to the wrong address.

How? I am completely unsure given the address has not change since the first payment was sent. This major mistake has now forced me again to pay more money out of pocket to the rental company because I cannot receive my car until the collision center received a payment confirmation receipt.

I am beyond disappoint and irritated by the way this company has handled my claim. I am very unhappy with the service I received.

Paid bill twice this month, need refund

I paid my bill this month online and it charge me on my other card as well. So instead of paying just 200 it took 200 off of my PayPal and then $200 off of my cash app so I need one of the transactions refunded to me please ASAP thanks

I haven't purchased insurance yet. I'm happy with the quote and coverage for the price.

I'm not able to reach anyone to discuss payment options, due to limited customer service hours.

I'm not able to use a credit or debit card to purchase and make the first payment. The payment option to use plaid to link my account is limiting my ability to purchase the insurance.

A wreak

Ok I wen to Southern Harvest in Valdosta ga. She called me to sign a restatement to the car in insurance it was October 26 or around there ..

So I asked her was it ok she said yes until she ran it through. So November 2 2020 I got in a car accident and to a toaled my car out. Ok on Friday the 5 got a notice saying it was cancelled!

Why did she not call me to tell me that my money did not go through?? I called the bank witch is Guardian they said she did not run the check through the bank account there were no record of it I have proof it did not she did not the first time either because the bank would through in No a urgent ion fundswhere

Cancelled insurance!!

My insurance agent did not send my check through the bank! ANd it got cancelled !!I had a wreck on nov.2 did not get the notice until friday!

They did not call me to tell me it was cancelled!

I went by there on October 30 or along there to sign a paper restating the insurance but she did not run the payment through my bank has no record of it! Where did the check go????

I just tried to cancel with Gainsco within 24 hours of starting a policy online the day before. I was given a runaround by someone who said she was in underwriting and someone she said was a manager she talked to to "get permission" to cancel my policy.

She at first told me I could not cancel after talking to that manager, unless I had another policy. I did have one. She said in that case to write a handwritten note with attached proof of insurance from the other company. I have never run into so much hassle with an insurance company to cancel.

This company is out of Texas, and I checked, and Texas insurance companies are like most others, they cancel and refund within a certain time frame. Gainsco was trying to keep me from cancelling and getting a refund; I wrote a note to both Sales and their genera service email address that this behavior was not only dishonest, it was likely criminal because insurance companies cannot keep you from cancelling like that. My reason for cancelling was that I did not realize this was a high risk insurance company, and I did not want to be associated with a company like that since I am not a high risk customer. I turned around and got insurance at an A rated company once I realized my mistake.

I also saw some comments on the internet that suggested this company might be flakey. I was trying to find temporary insurance while I am trying to sell my car, and was unhappy with my last insurance company.

Thinking it was only temporary, I did not do my homework on this company until after the fact when I started wondering about it. What I read about Gainsco was concerning enough I decided to pull out as fast as I could and go elsewhere.
