G1 Towing

One star is too much for this company. ZERO!

I have never dealt with a more unprofessional company in my life. I contacted G1 on 7/19/21 for towing services at 10:23am. I was advised that tow would cost around $225 as they may possibly need special parts even though I stated that car could was able to go into neutral and also that wait time would be 60-90 mins. Fast forward 4.5hours later no tow truck and no one bothered to call to update me on status.

At 2:45pm I called and received the rudest rep EVER. She was unapologetic and when I asked for a supervisor she placed me on hold then came back and said supervisor was unavailable. After explaining that I would report this to other media sources a supervisor was then available. He stated that tow truck driver missed my stop and that he was extremely sorry.

He also offered a $50 credit for a future tow. He said he would note file and any time I call it would be linked to my phone number. I don't remember his name but he was Hispanic. Since I was still having issues with my vehicle and needed to have it moved again I figured I'd take them up on their offer.

7/23/21 at 12:12pm I contacted G1 yet again for services. The gentleman on the phone took my information including my credit card and stated that tow truck would be out in 6omins and that if I canceled my credit card would be charged $49. Fast forward 3hours later no tow truck and again no call from G1 to advise of status. I called at 3:24pm and was placed on hold then told that truck would be out in 45 mins.

At 3:55pm I received a call that driver was stuck in traffic on the 5 highway but would be to me momentarily. Truck did not arrive until 5:00pm. I asked the driver what happened and told me that he was not alerted of my tow until 4:30pm. He was extremely kind and I do not for one minute believe he is lying.

I feel for him working with the likes of those in dispatch. After he dropped my car, I was charged $165 which was the fee for the job however the $50 credit was not applied which would have brought the price down to $115. I called G1 at 5:47pm and got a woman named Joyce. When I explained to her the situation she placed me on hold for 15mins and then the call disconnected.

I called back again around 6:05pm and a gentleman answered the phone. I asked for Joyce and responded, " We don't have a Joyce here". I responded that's the name she told me. I was then placed on hold and to my surprise Joyce got on the line.

He told me that she had no record or note of the conversation from Monday and that she could not offer me the $50 credit. But then went on to say she would give me the $50 credit if I needed a future tow. I then asked why would you offer me the credit on a future if you couldn't verify it? She then got agitated at which I asked for the corporate office information as at this point I have had enough of this company playing games.

She refused to give me any corporate information or contacts and told me that I had to call back on Monday to speak with a manager and that she would note the file. UNBELIEVEABLE!

I waited from 8:30 to 3:00, they never came,called, or showed

This is for G1 towing in Mojave driver approached and gave his name as Josh I've been a AAA member for 45 years I've also had plenty of cars towed good and bad service josh helped us change our tire with great service and really positive attitude my family thanks him and G1 for dispatching him out to us.. Worst towing company I've ever had to deal with. Save yourself the headache and money....call a different company!

Company took great care of me and they where called thru my insurance provider. Service me in 30 min while rush hour and towed my car to dealership.

I was stranded on 5 freeway and 2 freeway at intersection with a electrical problem on my car. Driver was cool and respectful. I would refer them to my family. All other people just are impatient and hype their story.

In my personal opinion my 2009 camry was towed correctly and i had no problems.

Also they did not charge me anything my insurance paid them directly. I cant complaint you guys need to get better insurance thats all..

I had the same experience, my car was only in there for a day and they want to charge me close to 1,000 to get it out because my insurance told me at the last min they wasn't going to paid to get it out. I have copy that they give me with no amount and there trying to charge me for accident fee and other b.s but it don't say that on the paper.

This company over charge people and they want to charge people there price and I feel that the prices should be on there paper work for people to see what there charging and the drivers try to convince people that there company is a good company but there not. Rating, 1.0

I used costco amerprise insurance and had a HORRIBLE experience with a towing company. I have no idea why they would work with G1 towing but it makes their company look horrible and I'm currently looking to switch insurance companies.

Basically this towing company has ruined people's cars by improper towing, overcharging and making the average customer wait 3 to 5 hours for tow service!

Do not use and do not use g1 towing!!!
