Furniture in Fashion damaged goods

I bought a glass table from Furniture in Fashion Bolton when it arrived the packaging was badly damaged and the table chipped. They keep telling me it will be sorted and a refund will come but you cant complain to anyone other than the salesman who tells you you cant contact the customer services as they do not have an incoming phone. I have e mailed them photos showing damage and rang the over 10 times and when you speak to them they say same thing every time it is being looked into I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THEM EVER AGAIN

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH FURNITURE GEEK

DO NOT order online/by phone from Furniture Geek, a subsidiary of Bo Smith furniture. We have ordered many pieces of Kincaid furniture from the High Point shops online and were horribly disappointed with the one time we ordered from Furniture Geek.

I placed an order for two pieces (a dresser & blanket chest) on 1.15.13 and took delivery on 7.16.13 - ridiculous. They do not answer their phones or return your calls. You may get a "we're looking into this delay"-type email if you are in touch with Ashleigh there. Although I saved a few hundred dollars on this particular order, it was NOT WORTH IT.

I called and emailed at least twelve times.

Their delivery service (Reliable Trucking?), however, was lovely. Order from Home Gallery instead -- they are absolutely fabulous with beyond fabulous customer service.

Do not deal with On The Web Furniture

Chronology will set the stage:

4/18/08 - Ordered dining set from On The Web Furniture - received confirmation at 8:49 am - 9:55 am received email stating set was back ordered until 7/11/08 - 10:15 am called and was given choice of cancelling, exchanging or discount - took discount for a whopping $46.83 - wanted set

Interim - found another table. Was tired of balancing my meals on my lap and/or eating on the kitchen floor.

4/22/07 - cancelled order - rec'd email stating could not cancel until 5/18/08 - 4 week policy

Received numerous emails stating cancel policy

4/30/08-$1,019.31 taken out of my account-called and was told set had been received by them 4/29/08-could not cancel without penalty of $257.99-didn't want to deal with this company anymore, so I agreed to pay.

No contact from On The Web Furniture that set had been received by them - found this out by seeing that the money had been deducted from my account and placing a call to them.

5/07/08-still waiting for $761.32 to be deposited back into my account.

As a consumer I feel shafted. Who would have thought that an email stating a 7/11/08 ship date would be misleading. I understand the 4 week cancellation policy, but it amazes me that a set was miracously received by them on 4/29/08 after I had cancelled the order on 4/22/08 and I can instantly receive confirmation, back order and cancellation policy emails, but I was never informed that the set had arrived and only gained this knowledge by seeing that $1,019.31 had been deducted from my account.

I am also amazed that it has been about a week that the funds have not been returned to my account.

Their use of modern technology seems to work in their favor and not for the consumer.

5/07/08- have placed a call to "supervisor" Virginia and left message on her voice mail regarding my refund.

By the way, I ordered a dining set from Touch of Call and their name says it all. It was a matter of 1-1/2 weeks and I received the set and love it.

For all of you other consumers, please do not deal with On The Web Furniture, 2651 Crimson Canyon Drive, #190, Las Vegas, NV 89129-telephone: 866-296-**** and 702-304-****.
