My mother and I bought several pieces of furniture in 2011. I myself bought 3 different living room chairs, a adult bedroom set, a girls bedroom set, a boys bedroom set, 4 different size mattress sets, 2 kitchen sets, a pole lamp, a end table, a coffee table, a faux recliner sectional set and several accessories.
1) both the boys and the girls bedroom sets: dresser drawers came apart and bed frames cracked. 2) both adult bedroom sets: bed frames both broke 3) king size mattress sets: both mattress feather tops went flat and one mattress split open on seam 4) kitchen ( high ) table sets: all the chairs in both sets ... legs kept coming loose ... several times until they eventually could not be fixed.
one table, the glass started cracking at one corner and feathered out. 5) coffee table: one leg split where it is screwed into top of coffee table. 6) pole lamp one of the covers (metal shade ) separated from the pole and could not be fixed. 7) my FAUX leather recliner sectional when I bought this recliner sectional, I WAS made to believe it was real leather.
It was my first time buying leather ??? , so I didn't know the difference. I have been using this section in my living room since different places on pieces of the leather started peeling just before X-Mas in 2013 SINCE then : the backs (the part where your head is) , the seats and the one arm is peeling . One seat is so bad there is no faux leather left on the seat.
Also the insides of the footrest on one of the recliners. I'm as upset as I am at FURNITURE CITY because I AM THE ONLY PERSON WHO LIVES IN MY HOME ( and except for my Grandchildren coming over occasionally to stay the night) AND THE ONLY PERSON WHO USES THE SECTIONAL . Except for an occasional visitor, I USE ALL OF THE DEFECTIVE FURNITURE 99% OF THE TIME. I am so embarrassed for people to see my furniture in this *** condition.
And I CAN'T AFFORD to buy any furniture to replace the DEFECTIVE FURNITURE FROM FURNITURE CITY in Rochester , New York. I INTEND ON SUING FURNITURE CITY FOR SELLING ME DEFECTIVE FURNITURE.
