No star for awful customer service and damaged furniture I Han to throw and rebuy from different company.
A other company did do better with replaced furniture undamaged. This company is horrible. They refused to solve the problem.
Never had such a horrible customer service experience in all my life, and I am age 63. This company and its employee Gary ignored my request to solve damaged high end (AMCE Versailles) furniture
- - Colors differed; chest leg was broken.
- - Replacement chest damaged; two drawers broke.
- - Final offer $375; months of no contact; over a year.
Nightstand and chest were obviously different colors, and the leg was broken on the chest. The leg could not be fixed, so they replaced the chest.
The replacement chest was also damaged. It shook like it was weak and falling apart, which caused two drawers to break as the hardware was broken. The contact man (Gary) offered me $600 for the color variation, then later offered $375 for both the dresser and color variation. He put the final offer in writing and refused to answer my calls for over 7 months.
This whole ordeal has been going on for over one year. And the high-end damaged furniture in question was well over $2000. Either I accept the $375 for furniture that's unusable or I get nothing! I'm a senior citizen and that was part of my dream bedroom set, as well as my final furniture purchase.
They hit me with the claim that I signed that all furniture was in good condition. However, I only signed that I received the furniture, and on each delivery, the delivery guy would not wait for me to open packages, which they said they only had a contract to drop off - not open or check for damages.
This company has been cruel, ignoring me, lowballing me, and refusing to discuss a better resolution. I would never recommend them to anyone!!!
- Took to long to get furniture
- Not willing to be fair to customer
Preferred solution: Full refund
User's recommendation: Never use such a disrespectful greedy company!!!!
Table was split and got no help
- - Paid cash for four tables with curbside delivery.
- - One table arrived severely damaged; the other three were fine, and no replacement was arranged.
Paid cash for 4 tables, curbside delivery. Furniture cart said to look at tables upon arrival.
My son opened the 4 boxes, tops looked fine, felt along sides and that felt fine. It was literally impossible to pull all 4 tables out of box on the road. The tables had to be put together. Im elderly, have a fractured back so couldnt help.
When husband pulled sofa table out of the box it was extremely damage. One of the drawer sliders were broke, multiple scratches and chips, broken drawer slider(husband fixed)but the spit wood is something we cant fix, has 2 drawers on the front, they wont close and look terrible. Luckily the other 3 tables were fine.
I expected furniture cart to come get the bad table and bring me a new one but they didnt. I saved up money for years to get new tables, this made me sad.
Preferred solution: Table replaced
User's recommendation: If curbside delivery. Open and take out every piece even if it takes all day
