I purchased a cabinet at the beginning of October 5 from Farini Furniture CA, through Amazon.ca. I indicated right away to the seller that the item is too heavy for me, unexpectedly, and I wish to return it.

My issue is that I am almost 70 years old, in bad health, living alone in a retirement apartment building with no one to help me return an item of 90 lbs without a car available. I contacted Canada Post and Purolator, requesting that I pay for delivery to the Amazon return center, but no one helped me. I spoke to 10 agents from Amazon, spending several days, from customer service to heavy items delivery to Angela the supervisor, in the US and was given the same reply that nothing can be done. Please return at least half of my money.

I live on a pension and it's hard to make ends meet. I am very disappointed that no one at Farini suggested any option to get my money back, at least in part. Amazon is also a disappointment, as I have been a loyal customer.

I would appreciate a resolution. Thank you.
