Please note that this particular site was originally set up for a Fur-Ever Home Rescue in California. However there are many Furever Home Rescue’s in the US and some of these comments are mixed and intended for different Furever Home Rescue Groups. On another note, websites like this are designed to allow dissatisfied people to voice their displeasure….and what you read is one opinion. What it doesn’t show are the many thousands of potential satisfied families that are very happy with their experiences with many of these rescue groups. They won’t go to pissed consumer website when they are satisfied. Animal rescue groups do so much good for helpless animals and for adopting families, but unfortunately they cannot successfully please everyone. So disgruntled people may provide their negative opinion on a site like this and maybe they are accurate, and maybe not. It only provides a narrow view into an overall rescue group’s history, character and overall accomplishments. If your at this site researching a specific rescue group, I would highly suggest you check other options to determine if a rescue group is legit and is reputable. And, i would suggest you ask for references from the rescue group.

Not really happy with our experience
The people were rude. The paper work is longer than a mortgage application and gets way to personal. I left the show they had at Pet Smart thinking I really hope this place does not call us. The gal interviewed us and scoffed at my wife because she said that the dog might be in the house by its self for a couple hours after lunch while she was at work and before our Son came home from school. Which is funny because they talk about how they did not have time to promptly return calls because they have lives kids husbands and jobs. Really? How do you not spend 24/7 with your dog? Honestly these people should probably not be allowed to run a lemonade stand in a desert full of people dying of thirst.
