Typical Sleazy Dealership
- - -The online lease for a 2017 Cadenza is $285.
- - -The color option was held; in-person approval needed.
- - -Two cars sold; only higher-cost models offered.
Put together a lease deal online for their "special"..a 2017 Cadenza. Sales rep confirms via text price of 285.00 zero down pending credit approval.
Rep confirms there are "several" in my color choice. I ask to hold one until next day when I come in. Finance guy, and sales rep, will not give me credit approval until I come in. I state just give me a yes or no after I submitted credit app with a 765 Equifax score.
2 days of no answer, they still say come in. Finance mgr finally texts me with " the 2 cars for our lease special are sold, but we have plenty of the next higher trim model for a higher cost". The old bait and switch.
This dealership is a throwback to the old sleazeball dealerships and is incredibly unprofessional. Stay away from them!
Complaint
- - Disappointed with the service department over a persistent AC issue.
- - Port Charlotte Kia confirmed the compressor was the real issue.
So very disappointed in your service department. I purchased a kia Optima from you.
From the very start I had ac problems. I visited your service department and explained the ac only blew cold while driving. They kept me detained for over 5 hours while they supposedly serviced my vehicle, and charged me to boot. They said there was a dirty filter which I couldn't quite understand how the air would blow while driving but not while sitting.
However I was assured this was the problem , and I went about my day. Unhappily I continued to have the problem and take my vehicle to Port Charlotte Kia to find out what I basically knew already-it was the compressor all along. When I first came in my warrantee is was just about up. HMMMM!!!!
Sad to think this company thought I may not take out an extendedwarrantee-however I did and it was covered but I still had to pay the $100 deductible which should have been covered original when I first took it there. Shame on you Kia!!!
Me and My family and business have bought quite a few cars from you and now I am not feeling so confident with your business etiquettes. Actions speak one hundred words in business and in life.
Fuccillo Kia Of Port Charlotte - Sales Representative Review from Overland Park, Kansas
- - Felt interrogated and pressured to buy.
- - Wanted to see options and think, but pressure persisted.
- - Keys were taken and they texted after leaving.
I had the worst experience I haven't been in a car dealership in years I felt like I was being interrogated and trying to be manipulated into purchasing a car I told them from the beginning I wanted to see what my options were and I needed time to think about it and they basically Brown beaded me it made it such a bad experience I couldn't wait to get out of there I was there for 4 hours they had my car keys I felt like I had committed a crimeI thought from all the commercials I heard that I go in people would speak to me and when I told them what I was looking for and that I wanted to think about it that wouldn't be a problem but apparently it was they even texted me after I left there and wanted to know when I was coming back down the sign the papers I told them I didn't want toI thought I would get one and find caring people instead I found people who needed to make their end of the month quota and wanted to push a car on me I was dealing with one salesman and he ended up bringing in three other people to try to get to push me into buying a car it was the worst experience I've ever had in my life it would have been my first new car had I opted to buy one I've never had one I'm 53 years old I will never go back there
