FST SAND AND GRAVEL

. .BEWARE OF the rock quarry FST SAND AND GRAVEL IN CORONA, CA, that is off the I-15 freeway in corona off magnolia (for lower plant) and off cajalco exit (for the upper plant); If you are looking for 3/8" or 3/4" rock. They mix in a LARGE amount of 1/2" rock in both surge piles with their CAT 972's for filler. and not just one load, but many loads. So really, you are getting less material that you are actually paying for. This companies tries to cut corners when they get an opportunity. They are cheating, their customers out of money!

You do realize that often times you need to mix in different sizes of rock to meet the spec requirements of Green Book and Cal Trans. Gradations require a total of about 8 different sizes of rock and sand particles to be screened down and weighed in a lab.

If their 3/4 isn't meeting spec that day/week, companies will often mix in other product to raise the numbers and make it "sellable" and in spec. You should learn about the aggregate business before you put down someone who is running a successful business such as FST, as it should be ran.
