Social Worker Screwed Me Over
Living at the lowest income we came here to see if we could find out about getting a phone. The social worker tony smith started an application for Safelink wireless.
I showed him my ID. Spelled out my email address. Repeated my mailing address to him several times. My mistake was not to check to see if he punched in the right keys before pressing enter.
Turns out he typed in the wrong entries ON PURPOSE! I can tell a mistype from a completely WRONG mailing address and completely WEIRD email address. AS A RESULT, and due to the way the application form profile is set up, NOT ONLY CAN I NOT CHANGE ANYTHING BUT EVEN AFTER SENDING IN MY PAPER APPLICATION with the RIGHT ADDRESS AND EMAIL ADDRESS and copies of drivers license and medicare card SAFELINK WIRELESS has not sent me my free low income phone yet! Their pretext is that if there is a mismatch between online application information and hard copy application your application approval will be delayed.
I cant reach anyone in person at Safelink Wireless. I cant change my account information. AND SAFELINK WIRELESS HAS ALL THIS INFORMATION THEY CAN USE TO GIVE OUT A FAKE ID AND FREE PHONE. MR TONY SMITH IS AN ---hole.
HE DECIDED HE WANTED TO SCREW ME OVER BY *** UP THE APPLICATION ON PURPOSE. If he really was trustworthy he would have given me a hard copy of what he entered on the computer. Instead, he forced me to find out later on he screwed everything up.
Friendship Place may offer you a free cup of coffee and donuts but their attitude at least Tony's is biased contemptuous and mean-spirited.
Please avoid any consultation with Tony Smith if you a nonblack nonwhite female and check double check his typed entry information on you. He should not have access to any Vspdat database system.
He might sneak in and change people's information for sheer spite! Shame on you Tony Smith!

Safelink is horrible anyway, so he may have saved you a lot of headache. It takes for ever to get a phone even if the info is entered correct.
and when you do get it its a *** phone.
Its near impossible to get customer service either vocal or via website. Boost has an unlimited deal for 35 bucks right now, might be an option over unreliable Safelink?

And their phones are horrible. You might want to shop around for a different providor that does the same thing.
I know money may be an issue but right now Boost has an unlimited plan for 35 a month. just something to think about.
