In August of 2024, I contracted with Soteria to transport a box from a Pennsylvania appliance store to my house. I provided the weight and dimensions of the box and they provided me with a quote.

The box was picked up and transported to my home. A couple of months later they came back and claimed that the dimensions of the box did not match what I had told them, and that I owed an additional $118 for the shipping. Luckily I still had the box, and I sent them pictures with a measuring tape - the box was a match for the dimensions I had provided. They said that wasn't sufficient evidence - that the shipper had measured the box by scanning it and came up with different dimensions.

I asked for their proof of the dimensions and they provided none. THey sent me an invoice which I refused to pay - I had a contracted price for a contracted service. In June of this year they ran the credit card I provided them with 9 months ago for the $118, completely unauthorized.

I've reported it as fraud to my credit card company. I would not provide this company with any credit card information - they apparently feel free to continue to use the card long after your business with them has concluded.
