Shared my info when said they don't

AI Highlights
  • - I provided my phone number and chose text for contact.
  • - I received two calls from Ameri-Save and Loan Depot; one rep kept talking after I declined.

I was looking for a mortgage calculator and had to complete some information. Asked for my phone number which I did not want to really give but did, choose text for communication preference and immediately received 2 phone calls from Ameri-Save and Loan Depot.

Even when I told the Loan Depot guy I did not request a call or information he continued to talk over me and say he will connect me to a loan officer. This is BS.

They should have never shared my information. We need t change the regulations instead of things be automatic a person should have to sign up for communications, this is so f-ed up that I have to "unsubscribe" something I never agreed to subscribe to anyway.

Pros:
  • Good if you really want to speak with a loan agency
Cons:
  • Them calling me harassing me they say they respect privacy

Preferred solution: Apology

User's recommendation: Do use site unless you are actually looking to speak with a loan agent
