Fred Beans Crysler of Doylestown / '02 AWD Grand Caravan

FRED BEAN'S Update: Per '02 AWD Grand Caravan. The finance company's hounding me, "I stopped paying for a non running vehicle!" No recourse / amnesty from finance company.

The vehicle was repod'd yesterday. Sat there long enough! This shady Fred Bean's, as of yesterday; now offering me $375.00 as a token of good faith! "GOOD FAITH!!!" What good faith?

That's a laugh! "They" put the *inspection sticker on it! I just wanted them to fix the *prior damage(s) and make good. Or, just clear the remaining note.

Good faith my ***! This dishonest, unscrupulousness FB's organization must really think I'm & you are gullible idiots! The State Attorney General's Office..., That's a laugh too! Fred Bean's of Doyletown / elsewhere..., stay away!

Contacting FB, (a nice letter) with m'reply. {{Redacted}}

"PA Safety Inspection Failure!" Now I'm screwed!

It's been almost 1 year since purchasing vehicle from Fred Beans Chrysler - Doylestown. A month or so into driving heard suspicious noises (clunks & thunks) in rear of '02 AWD Grand Caravan. I drove it to my trusted. PA certified vehicle inspection auto mechanic, placed it on lift for inspection of said rear / undercarriage. He was shock & showed me vital unsafe conditions of rear suspension system. Leaf springs shackles / bushings / mounts & all related hardware / (trans-axle) torque arm / rear axle / boots are shot! rusted-worn away. He mentioned "they", {F.B's service department} should have never placed PA safety inspection sticker on windshield unless all was repaired! He failed this Safety Inspection. M'mechanic also assured me these damages didn't occur in the short time of me, owning this vehicle. "It's been ongoing for years". [..., he joked, "was vehicle down south in a flood for years?" Hummm..., maybe so, since I learned that these so-called "CarFax" reports can be fudged....

I returned it to F.B's service department for what I thought "warranted & justified" repairs. "They" said damages were "preexisting" & would be out of m'pocket to resolve. ($$$$!) More than the initial "note"!

As of 3 weeks ago.., (3 weeks from a years of owning it...!) engine heads blew / engine shot! In spite of all fluids, (oil - coolants - etc.), showing proper fluid levels. I want out of this insanity! Remaining note isn't very much, but enough! I now have to pursue this per "un"- safe / illegal / practice of neglect per PA safety inspection deception.

Preferred solution: Reimburse all payments of note to date. Pay off balance of note. OR! "Fix everything", at "absolutely" not cast to me! [Parts & Labor!] A loaner while vehicle is down for that duration. And inspection by m'mechanic per approval for valid PA safety inspec

Fred Beans Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram - Chrysler Town And Country Review from Baltimore, Maryland

I just wanted to let you know what a horrible experience it was to purchase a car from  Fred Beans Doylestown-Dodge Chrysler Jeep. We arrived around 930am 11/28. We had specific Pre owned cars we asked to see but were told that they were unable to show those cars on the weekends. So we took a look at the inventory available. We found a Chry T&C that we liked and proceeded with the purchasing process. We were given the price by our sales man Rich Adams. It took hours for them to get the closing paperwork together. We had 2 small children and a baby with us but that did not seem to matter to them. When sitting down to complete the closing and reviewing the paperwork we found that $1000 was added to the selling price of the car. They blamed it on the sales man and made me and my family go locate the sales man. They knew from the beginning of the process that we had limited time because of the baby but still had no concern that we were there for 8hrs. Because off the time we agreed to meet in the middle of the $1000 and let them add the $500. They were successful with the old bait and switch. Dispite all the issues, and that we were happy with the vehicle we considered it water under the bridge until additional obligations were not met. We were told we would receive a rewards booklet in a few days that we never received. We were also told this again last week, and still have not received It. I am very disappointed because of the distant traveled and high expectations for a Fred Beans Dealership. I still would like to receive the promised rewards booklet and requested information on service.

Never again

Purchased a 2004 Ford Explorer for $7000.00 including tax and fees earlier this year. Drove it 8000 miles, timing chain blew making truck repair cost higher than the truck would be worth.

Sold it for $800.00. Front brakes and rotors shot after 2000 miles of Fred Beans Dodge inspecting it. At least that they repaired for free but pretty much useless after the thing blew. Never ever would I buy from any dealer with the Fred Beans name.

Shop elsewhere. This wasn't a car on the bargain lot.

I don't know how they sleep at night but I sure couldn't. We just take for granite anymore if someone gets shafted , to bad for them.
