Resolved: Fred Beans Chevrolet - 2009 Chevrolet Traverse Review from Bethlehem, Pennsylvania

Purchased a 2009 chevorlet traverse. I did not think of purchasing an extended vehicle warranty at the time due to the vehicle being five years old with about fifty five thousand miles. The sales man Andrew Cohen didn't even bring up anything on warranties now I know why. These whole outfit is a scam and they're crooks. The vehicle began to have major electrical problems and happened after their ninety days dealer vehicle warranty. I got the vehicle towed to fred beans chevy doylestown and relayed to dealership,we're not happy and we would like to get out of the suv and into another. They said they arent intrested at this time in buying back. Before I did business with them and purchased the suv for twenty thousand dollars. They said they will always be a buyer and buy the suv back. The electrical issue was the main fuse box. Had to be replaced. After speaking with the service manger Larry Santiago and sales manager Larry storm and finance loan officer christopher Zalesky, they advised getting the vehicle repaired through their service department and never made clear to me that the service bill won't and cannot be paid off by or with a purchase of an extended vehicle warranty. I specifically told them im getting to suv to their service dept and they advised to have the chevy brought to them since they'r dealer I purchased the vehicle from and they can get me an extended warranty and the service dept work such as diagnostics and repairs will be covered through the appropriate extended warranty required for the issues I had. We left the house with the down payment for the warranty. The finance officer took me right into his office to buy a platinum bumper to bumper warranty for thirty four hundred dollars. As we're leaving and I ask for my car keys, the service dept.Tells me I owe them twelve hundred and I better get it in cash or you ain't getting your car. The service department bill was twelve hundred dollars. They gave me a hard time and pretty much said im an *** for servicing the vehicle through their service dept. And not my local chevy dealer or another repair facility for lesser $. I spoke to the general manager mark Donahue and expressed to him my dilemmas. He was arrogant, not cooperative and did not understand the false promises his staff had committed to. I knew than that he and the mangers are the ones orchestrating how to scam hard working citizens and I was just another victim and pawn in their messed up game and I had gotten played. Theyr theifs. The whole program and staff. The lured me in,got twenty K ca$h when I purchased the vehicle and made out like bandits. Did not advise me to buy the extended warranty because they wanted more $ in the near future. I wasted $ on tow, my hourly professional salary and my wife's, and twelve hundred dollars on a fuse box worth two hundred and fifty dollars. Unethical and unprofessional. Do not fund this scam and use your hard earned money else where. Im sureyou read this and have

Did you pay 20,000$ for a 50,000 miles 2009 traverse?

You could have a purchased a 2015 traverse ls <10 miles for 26000$ (+taxes, fees).

Please research before going to any dealer.
