Auto Mechanic Shop

I drop my car off at the shop on Friday, 2/1/13 around 9:30am for Service. Around 5:30pm I arrive to check on the status because I didn't receive a call. The tech said that he will have to check tomorrow AM-Saturday. Around 10:30am Saturday I received a call that the code (PO302) was for a faulty coil(wire)and that the cost would be $261.82 not knowing what it consisted of. I agreed to have the service, I had no choice, the car wouldn't run right. When I got the receipt I noticed is was for a plug and coil for my 2005 Nissan Sentra. I asked "don't it make sense to change all four", he said that if more than one failed, yes. I took my car and left. I felt that something wasn't right. I called the autozone that I usually get my parts from and priced the same parts - plug $4.49 each, coils $46.99 for 4. I went back to the shop today and spoke with the tech. He stated that he bought the high quality brand. Please note that the invoice reads as follows: PLUG - APP5325C - $15.00 COIL - UF351C - $152.00 CHECK ENGINE LIGHT CODE PO302 - $80.00 (LABOR) REMOVE AND REPLACE COIL AND PLUG TAX 14.82 This is a lesson well learned, I was at a disadvantage, and he took advantage of it, but what am I supposed to do. So now I have to purchase the four pack of coils and plugs and try to put the others on myself. This is my second time receiving service with this shop. And just to think, I recommend two people to them, well I made sure to let them know. Never again.
