Do not use this company!!! It is a shame I had to even give one star to post this.

We called them out because our A/C was freezing up inside. After looking at the unit we were told the evaporator coil was bad and the unit needed to be replaced for almost $4,000.00. When asked if there was any warranty on the unit, they said no. Since this was installed less than four years ago, we decided to get a second opinion.

We had another company come out and the diagnosis was completely different. So, the unit was in fact still under a part's only warranty and the evaporator coil was not the cause of the coil freezing. Bobby at Browns Artic A/C found the blower and blower PCB were both bad not allowing the blower to go into high speed. After all was done the unit was repaired it has been working better than ever in this brutal heat for a quarter of the cost quoted by Frank Gay.

I called Frank Gay several weeks later after the repair was complete and I was confident the unit was fixed properly looking for a refund for the misdiagnosis. After three days they finally rejected my refund stating because Browns added six pounds of freon their diagnosis was correct, yet they never mentioned the blower, PCB and specifically told us no warranty. I have since been told the original freon charge was correct because the blower was not functioning properly and according to the manufacture this was likely from the original install the blower was never programmed properly and once it was it required more freon because the CFM had been increased so much. This is all stated from the manufacture.

Even after presenting all this evidence and asking them to reach out to the manufacture because Browns said this was all documented through the manufacture, they still refused to refund the $238.00 charge This company tried to rip me off for almost $4,000.00 and even after proving it they refused to the right thing. Although this is very disappointing, I am very thankful I got a second opinion from an honest service provider because Frank Gay certainly is not!

Guy tried to sell me a entire new electric breaker panel before any diagnostics where done and was quoting me financing options before even looking in the panel. Shocker they wanted $12,000 worth of repairs. Called a second company to come out and they solved the problem with a $14 breaker.

Do not get Frank Gay Services Family Plan. It is a scam.

It sounds good but it is not after you pay for it. It is $150 per year and it includes electrical check up, plumbing check up and 2 AC maintences. Electrical check up was nothing more then checking every socket to see if it is working and you know that yourself if you plug something and it doesn't go on not working. The plumber they sent said he never saw plumbing like mine and he guessed it was OK.

He did a 5 minute drain of my water heater and said it was all good. As for AC maintence he never showed up. I asked for a refund and I had to email someone because she only does business by email and won't talk on the phone to you.

She couldn't give a refund because 2 services were already done and the value was $129 each - are you kidding? This is a scam - I just want to let people know this is not a good deal - do not buy and don't even use these people no matter how desperate you are find someone else.

CONTACTED COMPANY FOR HEATING AND AIR CONDITIONING ISSUES, CHECKED SYSTEM WORKED FOR A HOUR AND CUT-OFF. CONTACTED COMPANY 3 TIMES AFTER THAT FOR REFUND OF SERVICES WAS TOLD THEY COULDN'T REFUND BUT SERVICE CALL FEE.

HAD TO CONTACT A REAL COMPANY FOR TRUE DIAGNOSIS AND HAVE UNIT FIXED.

CUSTOMER SERVICE AND MANAGEMENT IS HORRIBLE CARE LESS ABOUT CUSTOMER ONLY COMPANY BOTTOM LINE. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THESE FOLKS.

I called Kiley & Sons for my annual whole house water filter change when to my surprise Frank Gay shows up. Apparently they sold their company to Frank Gay.

I knew there was going to be a problem when he started taking pictures of my faucets on the inside of my house when my water filter is in my garage. After reviewing my home he recommended a tankless water heater and the replacement of all fittings to my faucets for $12,000 and oh by the way the water filter was $259.00.

WHAT A JOKE!!!

ANOTHER FLORIDA SCAM

Called a number of leak detection companies and they all quoted me around $300. I settled on Frank Gay services, they were able to make it to my house sooner than others.

On the phone, I explained I have a leak somewhere and can't find it. My water bill was over $600 (for two ppl, no pool). There was a $39 fee to come out, no probably. When the technician arrived, I explained the situation and let him know that I have a crawl space and concrete slab as well as an irrigation system.

I was then told it would be $259. Ok, this seemed reasonable. Tech goes into the crawl space and confirms no leak there. He also does not believe it was in the irrigation system, which left the concrete slab.

And then the bait and switch occurred. Now the price is $800. I refused this, knowing that $300 is the average for a FULL leak inspection. I would never use this company due to the unethical approach they take to bait and switch clients.

FIND SOMEONE ELSE, THEY ARE NOT WORTH IT. I have a leak detection company coming out to the house in 3 days and the cost for the FULL service $350.

RIPE OFF ARTIST'S WORK HERE. MANAGEMENT DOES NOT CARE AND WILL SIMPLY DISCARD YOUR FRUSTRATION!

Nothing but problems with frank gay since our ac installed, we paid for and contracted for a mid level unit but they ripped us off and installed a bottom of the line unit which we didn't find out til last week. they installed the drain pipe improperly and had to come fix that, they didn't install the proper circuit breaker until right before the inspection leaving us unsafe at that point, the thermostat they installed didn't work properly and then the other night the safety box circuit breakers burned and I have been advised that likely it was due to improper connections as well as notified that box is considered outdated and should have been replaced at install.

They are negligent and don't take responsibility. All I wanted was them to pay the company that already came out and fixed their mistakes to install the unit they owe us but they wouldn't, they wanted to waste more of my time and energy getting multiple estimates so they could pick who they will pay to install.

Nope, not gonna happen. Their negligence could have burned my house down now they wanna decide who gets to put the unit I paid for in, I don't think so
