Had the Nerve to Charge Me a $35 Fee

Unfortunately, I didn't think to check reviews prior to ordering. I went online to Frames Broker's website mid-February 2018 and went through the process of ordering prescription eyeglasses.

I have a really high prescription (due to an eye disease), so I was charged $534. The site stated that it generally takes about 5 business days for an order to be processed (before it's shipped), which I had no issue with.

The issue arose one week later, when I received an EMAIL from Shades Broker informing me that they'd processed my order for the frames ($375), but not the prescription and were refunding me only for the prescription ... HUH??? I re-read the email three times because I couldn't believe what I was reading.

I paid you $534 for a set of prescription eyeglasses (prescription lenses and frames), but you make the decision to just send me the frames without at least CALLING me ... ARE YOU SERIOUS???

Needless to say, I called and whomever the person was that answered my call acted as if she couldn't understand why I had an issue. I proceeded to tell her that I didn't want the "frames" and wanted a full refund. This is when she told me that I would be charged a fee because they'd already processed the frames.

I told her I didn't care, just to refund my money ...

and I was charged $35. Ludicrous!!!
