Lack of customer service

Have been trying to get a technician to look at my Foxtel for 4days, cannot get through to speak to anyone, I have sent emails so many phone calls and frankly I have had enough. Your customer service is absolutely crap and you shouldn't have to sit on the phone for hours at a time to be cut off, for christs sake all I want is to book a technician it shouldn't be that hard or do I just forget it and get Foxtel remove 28 years of being a loyal customer

Complaint about the services relocation connection

Foxtel is one of worse customer services of all, they leave the customer with confusion with they called, they give misleading and mis information to there customers and they cost customer time and money, they stuff customers around, because foxtel Australia allowed international operators to answer for Australian customers to their acct and personal details, foxtel ceo need to be sacked and nominated someone who can do job and ensure customer come first. Foxtel do not care about their customer they just want to be paid. The Australian government need to intervene and Does not help if anyone want to file complaints to TIO Commissioners does work. What going on with Goverments systems, we consumer are sick of it. Need to vote off all the Durector of foxtel and get them to do their job, because without us consumers they dont have job or business to carry on. We consumers deserve better service and better improvements.

They make an easy process, convoluted

They couldn't change my package untill I speak to telstra. Been a customer for over 20 years. When I asked to escalate to senior, put me thru to telstra after over 20mins on the phone. Seriously looking at cancelling my subscription. They are expensive and not really easy to deal with. Ser hiw I go after speaking to telstra, should never have bundled in the beginning arnot

User's recommendation: Be prepared to have the run around, not a one stop shop.

Update to iq5

I am not happy waited to speak to a person, then informed need to call telstra. When I asked for it to be escalated tge put me thru to telstra. I am seriously considering cancellation my subscription after over 20 years. Not happy I have to put in an antenna or have a satellite to change to a IQ5 box. Will see once I speak to telstra how I feel??? Have been paying for and additional box for the last few months and it was disconnected.

Austar not working...have been trying for a month without success

Signal was dropping out and interference lines appearing across screen for over a month. Tried resetting many times by turning off the power and even left it off for a day. Removed and replaced the card many times. All of no use until it stopped working all together. Yesterday Austar remotely reset the box, which is over 20 years old, and am again experiencing dropping out and interference. Am not happy that I am paying for a non-existent service.

FOXTEL

Ok so my Foxtel wasn't working (having wiring issues) so i ran the company up and did the step by step instructions with them. Instead of fixing the problem it just made it worse. They offered to get a technitian out to fix the problem and if it was deemed a fault of mine then i was to pay $70. The phone call was made at the end of February, the earliest they could get a tech out was April 22nd. So already paying for foxtel when it wasnt working. April 22nd rolled around and my Sister stayed home from work (with out pay) to let the tech in. They were ment to be coming between 7am-10am. 3pm rolled around and no one had showed up. We were told that they wouldnt be able to tell us when they were coming out and that they will put us on a 48 Hour call back list in which then they will have a new time - might i remind you no apology was given. 5 Days later we make the call to find out when the tech is coming they tell us May 6th which was 3 days away, asked when they were going to call me with this info and never got an answer. Asked if someone will definetly be out this time around and once again no one was able to confirm it. Poor Nan was made to stay home for us as we wernt even sure if they were coming. They came!! and what they wrote on the summary isnt what the tech had done. So i called foxtel this morning to say i wasnt paying the $70. Only to be told that the tech had came out and did what he was ment to do and that was final. With that foxtel hung up on me. Once again we got no where, and are still paying for foxtel when we cant use it to its full potenital.
