As a longtime viewer and San Diego resident, Im deeply disappointed to see that neither of your stations is supporting San Diego Pride 2025.
While Im not surprised by KUSIs absence, given your history of not participating, I expected better from FOX 5. In past years, youve proudly taken part in the Pride Parade and shown support for our LGBTQ+ community. Your change in direction is both disheartening and concerning.
I can only assume this shift is related to FOX 5s ownership by Nexstar Media Group, headquartered in Dallas, Texas. But this is California, not Texasand our values of inclusion, equality, and community matter here.
As a result, I will no longer watch FOX 5. Word of mouth is the most powerful form of advertising, and I assure youI have a big mouth.
