Rented a car through Fox with Priceline. My itinerary changed. Call Priceline to make the change. Told me only company you could change it was Fox. Called Fox created a new itinerary with the same confirmation number. Called to pick up a day early not possible. Called Priceline to see what they could do they thought the original order was in place still. Was told to call Fox to resolve. Call Fox I told to call Priceline to resolve. I need to know how a reservation that could not be changed got changed and who did it. All I get now is finger-pointing when I talk to either company.

Fox Failed to Provide a Rental Car

Unreliable and Uncaring Booked a rental with Fox Rent-A-Car on August 4, 2021 for pickup on August 31st. The booking was confirmed on August 28th. A rental car was never provided, and Fox Rent-A-Car did NOT offer any kind of assistance. - Waited 25 minutes for the Fox shuttle. - Bus driver would NOT let us on the shuttle. - Bus driver stated we could NOT rent a car. - Fox Rent-a-Car had no concern with leaving us stranded at the airport after 10PM.

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with full refund. About an hour after posting this review and emailing company again, they issued a refund for the fuel charge.

I have been trying to get this issue resolved ever since I got the email receipt in Tampa at the airport. The car was returned with a full tank and your representative put empty.

I have the gas receipt, a picture of the gauge, mileage out and in only reflects 1/2 tank used the entire time I had it, etc... Your representative told me I could leave at check in to catch my flight and I did not sign anything. Your representative Willix Flavio Bojorge has received all the information and is just ignoring the situation. I have wasted several days on this already, and it is getting ridiculous now.

I tried calling 5 times while still at the airport in Tampa to have someone competent go look at the car and read the gas gauge correctly, and could not get past infinite hold.

I need to get this resolved. I'm not paying over 140.00 for gas when it was returned over FULL!!!

Upsold and customer service issues.

I rented a car from Fox through Expedia and the cost at the time of booking was close to $590 for a total of 3 days. In the late morning of the 3rd day, I looked at my online credit card transaction and saw a charge from Fox for just over $1000.

I called fox and after a half hour wait, I hung up and called Expedia. Expedia informed me that they have the transaction showing $590 as well. After 5 highly frustrating conversations with customer service it was so clear that I was up sold, not explained costs at check in and to top it off when I returned the car 4 hours early to discuss the situation they charged me a fee of $20 for RETURNING THE CAR EARLY! Not to list all the other fees.

Never have I seen that one! In the end, I was left to simply laugh as they charged my card close to $850 ($150 security deposit refund). Worst experience with a rental car service ever! Then at the airport, I tried one more time to call and got lucky to find an associate who saw my logic and after reviewing my account, she saw some discrepancies and in the end, I was charged close to the amount I agreed to pay through EXPEDIA.

Fox is so lucky to have this associate, she took the time to review my account and FIVE stars goes out to this lady. I can only imagine all the complaints she must deal with during the day and yet she was so professional.

My reflection is this Fox, get your customer service in line DONT up sell customers, leave virtually no explanation of additional fees and rush people along to clearly drive additional revenues. Thankful for the 6th associate who agreed with my case but cant say I am coming back again, renting a car should not cause a trip to end early and in feeling completely taken advantage of almost a 2x of what I was contracted to pay.

Basically one customer service representative provided exceptional customer service and in the end the problem was resolved. However, my experience was so aweful that I do not recommend renting from this company. I have rented cars from hertz, enterprise, and Avis with no negative experience.

Hi, I recently rented a Car from Fox rentals.. my total from Expedia was originally $267.99. When I arrived to pick up rental, I was pressured into many different things. I ENDED UP GETTING TOLL PASS FOR $11.99 , PER DAY for 6 days. For $71.94. Also I was quoted $1.99 a gallon of gas and to return it empty. Im wondering what all the extra charges are ? A total of $404?

They were rude, they did have the mid-size SUV I reserved, had to take a smaller 3-cylinder car for the same $$. I was told that I did not reserve within 48 hours so, I could not rent one of those the car we got was junk.

The girl helping me was reading her phone and when someone came over to see what was taking so long she told her something that I never said..because of course she was not listening. They care nothing about customer service. The care nothing about customer service.

I talked to manager when I returned the vehicle and he cared less the the clowns that was working the rental desk. The girls at rental desk said there were not enough cars to cover, and the reservations were not guaranteed, that the website does not have inventory control on it, so reserve at your own risk, there may not be a car for you when you arrive on your flight.

Terrible Customer Service

I reserved a minivan in January 2020 and paid in advanced to secure the vehicle for our trip in June 2020. Our flights were canceled by Southwest due to covid. I made multiple request for a refund but was told I would only receive a store credit because I paid in advance. My credit was only good for 1 year. In April 2021 I tried to use my credit and was not able to rent a comparable vehicle because they downsized their fleet. The biggest vehicle available was a Ford Fusion at 3 times the cost. I made another request for a refund as I had tried to comply but was quickly denied. This has been a terrible experience and I will never deal with Fox again.

The office was close when we arrived at the airport

We waited 2 hours at the airport at 1 am Thor the shuttle to pick us up to pick up our rental car and no one shows up so we walked to other shuttle to go rent a car from other provider. So we rented a car from Avis and we get to the hotel at 4 in the morning!! We were so tired!! I will never rent from Fox again.

Toll road

I rented a car from Chicago o hare airport from June 15 to June 17 and passed through the toll plaza once in June 15 and Illinois tollway charged me for that but now they are constantly charging me and emailing me even after I removed my credit card from account , I dont have the car anymore, it was from fox car rental and they are contacting me even today because that car is passing through toll plazas so can you help in anyway , one charge I already put in dispute with my bank

Car rental for 8 days, yet unable to drive car for 3 days due to unsafe conditions. Attempted to contact Fox Rental for 2 days - 15 phone calls in total - they returned only 2 calls. I then made arrangements for repairs which they had authorized, only to wait at the auto shop for an additional 2 1/2 hours for Fox to give authorization to release car.
