ALMOST 2 MONTHS AGO, I PAID FOR A PRIVATE INVESTIGATOR AT FOX AND HOUND INVESTIGATIONS OUT OF TULSA TO LOCATE MY MOTHER. UPON CONVERSATION WITH THE P.I., HE ASSURED ME THAT HE WOULD HAVE INFORMATION BEFORE THE END OF THE BUSINESS DAY.
HE SOUNDED SO CONFIDENT AND PROMISED TO CALL ME ONCE HE FOUND HER. NO WORD BY THE END OF THE DAY, SO I GAVE IT THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT AND WAITED PATIENTLY FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS. I FINALLY CALLED 3 DAYS LATER, AND THE PI TOLD ME THAT HE HADNT HAD MUCH LUCK WITH THE INFORMATION I HAD GIVEN HIM. HE WAS SEARCHING OTHER AVENUES AND WOULD CONTINUE TO WORK ON MY CASE.
ANOTHER WEEK AND A HALF WENT BY, STILL NO CALL.....ONCE AGAIN, I CONTACTED THE AGENCY ONCE, THE SAME THING, HE HAD NOTHING NEW TO REPORT. AFTER ALMOST 2 MONTHS, AND AFTER PAYING FOR THE SERVICES, I AM NO CLOSER TODAY THAN I WAS BEFORE WE BEGAN.
STEER CLEAR OF FOX AND HOUND INVESTIGATIONS UNLESS YOU LIKE JUST GIVING YOUR MONEY AWAY. THEY REFUSE TO REFUND MY MONEY BUT CONTINUE WITH, "OH, WE ARE CONTINUING TO WORK FOR YOU TO LOCATE YOUR MOM", IM SURE NEXT THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN ASKING FOR MORE MONEY BECAUSE THEY WORKED SO HARD AND HAVE EXHAUSTED ALL AVENUES, BUT FOR X AMOUNT OF DOLLARS THEY ARE SURE SOMETHING WILL TURN UP........NOTTTTTT!!!

I don't know of Fox and Hound Investigations, so I can't defend them or your claims. I will say that the promise of positive results was not good.
Just because a Private Investigator, investigates a case, it does not always come out with the results the client wants. i'm based in Florida, and I have had cases for instance, a client hires me to follow his or her spouse claiming they are cheating on them and was evidence. IE. video.
We agree on a price with the budget they have to work with and the determines how may investigative hours I will put into the case and we are not cheap. So I follow the subject on one case in particular for four days for a total of 24 hours of billable time. ($75.00 per hour). At the end of the investigation, there was no evidence of him cheating.
I had hours of video of him doing everything else (nothing derogatory to the relationship) but no cheating. The client was not happy because of that and did wanted all her money back. No that did not happen. I explain to all my clients, they are paying for my time not for the outcome of results.
In the case of finding your mother. Some times its as easy as looking at social media and there she is. And other times its long tiresome data base searches, interview of old neighbors, friends, family, work history, very time consuming (oh, and your not the only case that is being worked on more that likely. ) and even after all this investigative research, still can't find her or if we do find her, she may not want to see you and in that case, I'll advised you of that and disclosed her information to you.
But I will tell you of that during my consultation before I accept a case and its in the written contract.
