AI Highlights
  • - ADT promised StarLight Homes that wasn’t true.
  • - No 30-day grace; only 3 days.
  • - Safe Haven owns contract; seeks $1,679.74; Vivint: $1,000 buyout, $500 credit.

I was solicited by ADT salespeople that said they had an approved package deal for StarLight Homes, new homeowners. Which was not true.

I checked and cancelled. I thought I had a thirty day grace period untrue. It was three days. The contract proprietor was Safe Haven Security.

They want 75% of the contracts worth for not canceling within three days. I canceled the service because the salesperson lied, to costly and not mobile or convenient enough for my use. I am a retired disabled vet on a fixed inSafe Have wants $1,679.74 paid in full cant afford it. But speaking to the rep from Safe Haven, she told me that Vivint had a buyout plan.

Contacted them, got a verbal for certificate $1,000. They want honor that but said policy said they could only give me a $500 credit on my account. Need help, Ga.

FBPA does not permit unfair business practices, false representation, misleading, vague and obscure business behavior. Need help got all the data.

User's recommendation: Read all content of contracts ask questions before you sign, if the representative doesn’t know. Don’t sign!
