I ordered a camera but after it was ordered and before it arrived I found one I preferred from HIKVision. I tried to contact them numerous times for RMA but they ignored my calls and emails. Called them and got put on hold, disconnected and when I did get thru the person had such a terrible accent I could not understand them. I don't care if this place had the worlds best stuff I would never buy from them again. I filed a dispute with paypal and I finally got thru but Im waiting on a RMA. I am sure at least that via PayPal I will get a refund.

FRAUD , poor quality and liars !!!!!!!!!!!!

I Bought the model F19828p , 3 months ago . The camera has went down 34 x's in that span . I have 31 man hours on the phone with this ignorant, smart mouthed , lying , and extremely disrespectful staff , in the 3 month span!!! Each support member attempts to fix the previous staffs ignorance !!! They have messed up my computer 5x's , and I had to pay even more money , to get it repaired . The sales staff lied about the Camera , from the start !!!!!!!!! This surveillance camera is supposed to record motion detection on my computer cd ROM , and it doesn't !!! IT only sends you snap shot emails , and in turn , they lied about the recording while the camera is in motion !!!! All of these complaints about this company , and its staff ( all departments) are certainly True !!! When you ask nicely to speak to someone who speaks ENGLISH better , these people get SMART MOUTHED WITH YOU , and will put you on hold for a long time , and if you get another representative , their English speaking skills , are even worse !!!!! While attempting to resolve this cameras issues , you can hear the staff in the back ground , laughing and making fun of you as a customer !!!!!!!!! These disrespectful SKUM BAGS , are too *** TO REALIZE THAT , EVERY TIME THE REPRESENTATIVE from FOSCAM speaks to you ,that every time the SUPPORT STAFF talks , you can hear the other *** , in the background , and what they are saying !!!!!!!! I finally decided to record my conversations with these non professional idiots , including their ID #'s , and I will be filing a FEDERAL COMPLAINT with the U.S ATTORNEY GENERALS OFFICE , and see if Federal charges can be filed against FOSCAM !!!!!!! I only wanted my camera to do it's described job , and what I got was belittled , Dis respected , made fun of , and humiliated !!!!! I received over 4,000(x's 3 pictures per email) emails from this camera that was just bugs flying around it , no matter what sensitivity level , it was set on !!! Even upon deleting these emails , it has eaten up the space on my hard drive disc . The only way to clean this off the computer drive , is to pay another company to clean it up , no matter what you try yourself !!!!!! 34 days in 3 months this camera has knocked itself off line !!!!It is all do to poorly trained , and disrespectful , language barrier, SMART *** !!!! PEOPLE LIE , phone records , and VIDEO Recordings DOESN'T !!!! Take THAT 4 YOUR QUALITY TRAINING PURPOSES , FOSCAM!!!!! BUYER BEWARE WITH FOSCAM , unless you are a confrontational *** , like this INCOMPETENT STAFF !!!!!!! One last thing ,read the companies reviews , on their products . They accepted my negative review , but didn't show it !!!! It was a nicer Review than this . Pay attention the the positive reviews , and the way they are worded . It looks to me like the broken ENGLISH might be a little suspect !!!!!!! Forget getting a replacement , or refund, too !!!! Been their , and tried that too , hours and hours of automated run around !!!!!!!!! They figure you will give up , and you as the customer , will be ripped off by this company , in my opinion !!!!!!!!!! FOSCAM can retaliate, and or respond to this COMPLAINT , all they want to , but they cant lie or DEFEAT , THE TRUTH !!!!!!!!! I suggest that all consumers record their sessions with this company , and others like it , to protect YOURSELF !!!!!!!!! Then maybe you can get what you paid for , not to mention home safety with a Quality Surveillance SYSTEM !!!!!!!!!!

I have 4 foscam cameras and have never had a bad exterience with the camera or tech support.

Wow. Have had nothing but perfect customer service from their reps.

Both online chat and live on the phone. I have had a few cameras replaced under warranty as well with very little effort on my part.

Foscam Cameras

I read up on the specs and liked what I saw. Did not do my research on the complaints though. I made the mistake of buying 4 of them (9821W models) through a local retailer outside of Toronto. Within the 1st year, each one of the 4 cameras were returned for replacements to the local retailer. All of the original 4 cameras were replaced within the 1st year at least 3 times each. Here are just some of the issues: Failing motors, poorly written software, tech support sucked. Canadian phone number/address for Foscam Canada was useless (no returned calls). 2 years later, only 2 out of 4 cameras operating. Worst product I have purchased in the last 10 years. I think I'm gonna quit while I'm ahead....

Well, the reviews on the Foscam cams were great, and I thought perfect. I'll just call support to see if they can answer a couple of questions I had. Spent 18 min on hold with only 6 callers ahead. Then I got a rocket scientist who didn't speak very good English, when he was reading his scripted responses and vague answers that did not answer my questions. I asked, "are you sure" on a couple of things he said, then put me on hold and said, sorry, you're right. I called again 2 days later for a couple of follow up questions and the automated attendent said 18 calls in front of me with a wait time of around 34 minutes. I hung up. I'm out. I'm so glad I didn't buy any of these, and won't now. Too bad, because it sounds like the camera is half decent, but if they don't care enough about their customers to at least hire knowledgeable people after you wait for so long, then this is not the product/company for me.

Where is my product?

Purchased camera directly from foscam website and after 5 business days of waiting, I call their customer service. The recording told me my call will be answered in 10 minutes and after 28 minutes of waiting, finally someone answered the phone and I could not understand what he was saying very well. He informed me that my camera had not been delivered yet, that it was a mistake from their shipping department and that he was going to over night it to get here the next day. 3 days later and I have not received the camera yet. I just called again and it showed it had not shipped out again. They said the didn't have it in stock. What a joke!

Foscam Customer Support is the Worst...

2 Hours of Phone Calls to get tracking information on a PayPal Order. Broken English only spoken. Customers are not allowed to talk with a Manager. You have to deal with Incompetent lacky's. The people have no idea of the ordering and shipping process. They have to call someone and most often will hang up in the process. Either the company is third world based or they are using grade school kids as employees... they appear to permanently Stuck on ***. My 8-year old Grandson is smarter than these people. Never buy anything from Foscam unless you like to add serious stress to you life. Poor product, poorer Customer Service and a really bad experience...

These complaints are TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I bought the F19828p Model , 3 months ago .

I have spent 31 man hours on the phone with these IDIOTS , meaning 21 phone calls !!!! The Technical Support people are Rude , argumentative , and they DO NOT know proper installation of getting the cameras up , and running for any period of time . Each time I call them , I have to wait , for sometimes over an hour , only to then speak to someone that can't speak English very well , and they get smart mouthed with you because they don't like you telling them that you need to talk to someone that you can understand better !! They have also totally screwed my computer up while trying to figure out their screw ups !!

The Camera is also falsely Advertised !!!! It is an Outdoor surveillance camera , that only takes snapshots!!!!! It does not record while it is in motion !!! They lied when they sold it to me , by telling me that it records to your disc drive!!!

It can only send snap shots to your email !!! No matter what sensitivity level it has , it records bugs flying around , and has sent me over 7500 emails in the 3 months that I have had it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That doesn't include the fact that this camera has knocked itself off line for a total of 34 days in this 3 month period !!!!! The staff continues to blame my internet provider as the problem , when in turn , the truth is, these people with the language barrier issues , are just plain unqualified , and in my opinion , *** !!!!

I have owned 2 Businesses , and would absolutely not hire this type of individuals , because it would destroy my Business !!! These complaints that I have read , are DEFINITELY True !!!! Each individual that has got this Camera back online , is just temporarily fixing their peers previous screw up !! Good luck on getting a replacement , or a REFUND , TOO !!

Their email system keeps denying my email attempts (MAILER DAMON FAILURE ), whatever that means . and try to give a negative customer review , on their site!!!!! They wont allow your review , even tho it says it was received successfully !!! This is , in my opinion , FRAUDULENT Business practices , and Extortion , by means of not letting you get thru by phone , or email !!!!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY !!!! PEOPLE LIE , but PHONE RECORDS DON'T !!!!!!!

I can't reach your co. by phone, and want to return the camera to foscam asap.

I am a senior citizen and highly discussed, was on the phone 1 1/2 hours yesterday trying to get through. I've had the camera approximately 7 days, and i want my money refunded to my credit card. Been on the phone too many times. Foscam is not providing professional service as promised in their advertisement, they are negligent in their promises, and i want my money back asap. It appears their advertisement is a trick, deceive and play on people's intelligence and kindness. Foscam.us unresponsive

We purchased the 6 cameras on line directly thru Foscam. Even the transaction was difficult and had to change several times. Received the cameras, and here is an outline of all the problems, of which none are resolved. 1. Foscam blue iris pro software wasn't with the cameras as promised, had to send emails and then prove I purchased with invoices and paypal invoices/receipts, in turn recieved the license key which doesn't work and I'm still waiting on a response. 2. The cameras we purchased are indoor/outdoor, after long discussion, determined the model we needed and the night vision and just basic problems with camera blacking out during the day and even one camera won't come on. 3. Several calls, numerous emails, everyone says something different, tried updating software, that made one camera unable to use now, so two cameras and not working at all. 4. No one calling me back with help, very frustrated, ready to take all the cameras down and buy from another company and get my money back if I can, they are under warrenty, only had for less than 6 months.

Ordered a F19821P Netcam and could never get it to work remotely even after spending hours in 3 instances with their tech support taking control of my computer and trying in vain for hours at a time only to call back and eventually give up blaming my internet provider which is on Fiber optics with guaranteed and checked over 100MBPS download speed. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY. I am now in the process of return and refund. I will keep you posted on success?? on that front.I am also trying to cancel a second order not yet received. We will see how that goes too!!

Calling customer service is a 1 hour experience just to say that the unit is defective, this was done twice. This does not include contacting the return department several times through phone and E mail. Instead of sending out a new unit immediately they wait until they receive the defective unit followed by an additional week before they send out a replacement. This is nearing 1 month with no camera, they processed the payment immediately though. Between customer service and dropping off the unit for return I have over 5 hours invested and no camera. Service is poor as well as the camera. Next step is to contact the credit card company and file a dispute.

simple enough installation only problem is software doesn't find your camera...IP Camera Tool stays blank. I read the instructions several times and still got the same result..my wifi's working properly and the setup seems so easy it's hard to make a mistake..finally i realised i needed help from Foscam. I needed them to walk me thru it once again but tjis was not to ever happen. countless emails, calls, and chats...no cure.after 5 weeks. Stay far away from Foscam,,,,they're just into selling, nothing else. I've complained on FB and get replies like they really are trying to help but they don't.

Wifi Camera F18919W

I bought my first camera from Foscam US over six months ago and now with camera two same issue and had to pay to ship it back the first time to now needing to do it a second time. The camera when pan or tilted goes into reset mode and reboots and returns to home position. I have spent countless hours with customer service from some country other than the USA. This camera model has not worked for more than one day yet over the last six months. I would not recommend this product to anyone big mistake. It should not be so hard to contact and get someone that actually can help you with there product.

I bought foscam modelf18910w to be able to see how my house is while i am up camping in the ssummer, i have had it over a week and spent over 20 hours of my time programing it and more time on the phone waiting for a representitive to answer two times now, the programing of it is over 17 pages and complicated, if you know how to tell if your IP is a dynamic or a static, and if you know how to do port forwarding of your router then it probably won't be to hard for you, but after all that I still can't get remote access to the camera and the rep said that she could so that was all she could do. I thought it would be a lot easier to install and operate than it is. you can only record video on internet explorer not on firefox or aol or your smart phone, so if you can handle these issues then you probably won't mind having this camera, I am returning mines.

Received an order with the wrong cameras

Now Foscam wants me to pay to have them shipped back and I have been told that there will be a 10 percent restocking fee. ON THE WRONG CAMERAS THEY SENT!????? They keep assuring me that I wont receive a restocking fee but when I ask for an email with just that statement the line just so happens so go dead. I'm done with this company and will be taking all my friends and family with me. This company has a great product as long as it works out of the box. If you need any sort of tech support, sales support or any phone related support you might as well just *** the whole day of work off since thats just about how long it will take for you to get any sort of resolution. What a waste of time.....

Durability of the 19831 is unacceptable.

I've gone through five of these in the last six months. Unit powers up to continuous BIT. Dont recommend this product. Every unit goes through this failure in less than 6 months. Black, white wired, wirless doesn't matter. If you send it back the next unit fails just like it. It appears the reset circuitry melts in the base unit when looking outside. Any sun causes the unit to overheat. i have otherunits from other manufacturers that Dont fail when sitting in a winow sill. If you are using ipad/ pod use the stem innovationsroduct instead. those units have never failed.u
