Ive just been emailing these roaches. Basically, what happened is the 'David Worthington' took advantage of the prospective client and asked if she would like them to secure an amount. She said yes please not realising that they would hold her to having said amount of money for transfer. (Lets not forget she hasn't transferred any amount or been advised that this was a binding contract) She then found them to be a lot more expensive than Transferwise, who she decided to use.

This is from the email I received this afternoon from David Worthington and Richard Beaumont:

"We have purchased the Euros at *****'s execution at 1.3510, costing £17,959.67. As this trade was unsettled we were forced to sell the Euros back to the open market today at a rate of 1.384451 returning £17,515.97, resulting in a market loss of £433.70."

So they are claiming that she owes them the £433.70

Just bear this in mind before asking Foremost Currency Group for a quote to transfer money abroad.

We want our review of foremost currency expunged we have tried several times to have this done but pissed consumer still are showing it. We are totally happy with foremost currency we continue to use their services and would highly recommend them

After speaking to foremost we were unaware that funds can not be sent same day we now know now it has been fully explained and therefore this complaint has been resolved

Our funds were received by transfer time but not sent on 31/12/2014. Our Spanish bank was open. No Pop arrived which we pay £20 for. We had no funds so cancelled our new yr booking we have to pay 50 euro cancellation fee. Phoned at 4PM offices closed. Plus the rate was showing 1.29 we were offered 1.2560 then 1.26. We note when James Spurway is not available things go wrong. We have been with Foremost for 7 years and this is the 2nd time this has happened both times when James was away. We are not only angry & disappointed as pensioners we are out of pocket & have struggled since Wednesday all down to Foremost.

I assume you are assuming responsibility for this matter. I have requested payment of the debt that you are refusing to pay.The reason stated is that I as your agent am responsible for your compliance costs, and that your costs exceed the debt?

I have requested evidence of any agreement to confirm this arrangement please would you be so kind as to forward this.

I have instructed solicitors that failing to receive this they are to proceed with bad debt proceedings against FCG

I would also like an updated list of any further commissions generated by our relationship please would be so kind to as to forward these details?

Please show evidence of any agreement between us that demonstrates your introducers are liable for your compliance costs be they internal investigations or otherwise?

Failure to do so or to pay commissions you have already confirmed to me are due will leave me with no other course than to proceed with recoveryof the debt with all associated costs being added to the debt.

I await your confirmation before proceeding. I had also been told by telephone this morning you were not in the office until next week?Hardly in keeping with honest and open relationships with brokers ex or otherwise?

Having reviewed the business referred to us by you, we have concluded no commission is due. During anti money laundering compliance procedures it became clear that clients you referred to us, could not confirm if it was their funds they were moving, or the reason they wanted funds transferred. Due to the lengthy and time consuming process it involved to investigate the history of the unusual trades clients were placing, this resulted in a cost to as far exceeding any commissions that were due.

For this reason no commission payment will be made, and no further communication will be entered into.

While we thank you for the business given to date, we no longer wish to have any further business relationship with you, or French Mortgage. Once we have paid your outstanding commission, please therefore remove the currency page from your site and any mention of the Foremost Currency Group.
