Never got my $950 CAMERA !!!!

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Has anybody ever gotten a final resolution with this company? I won a $950 Nikon camera , and they said they were behind in funding.

I went through the process with choosing an option to get cash or the prize and certified letter. Even talked to the guy who said he was the owner. In just a short time I'd receive my camera when he got funding. Nothin, Nothing, NOTHING !!!!

Do people like this go to jail, or what's the deal? I'd appreciate any information. It's been a couple years now.

This was a bid site similar to QuiBids, for10cents.com, named so because their bids cost 10 cents, whereas I think Quibids is 60 cents per bid. jimber68@***.com

I never did. They send me a small check at one time which bounced, costing me more money.

They owe me a lot, but I gave up trying after that check bounced. Didn't know what else to do.

Merchandise Review

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

Just like everyone else on here they owe me over $3500 in merchandise, I would call them everyday and still don't get a response. They sent an email saying there working on it a long time ago but we all know they aren't coming back.

Ripped Off. Never sent merchandise totalling over $100,000.

It's been 2 years since receiving any merchandise won through the auction site. It's been almost 1 year since being able to get in touch with anyone from the company.

In the first couple years, shipping of merchandise was relatively fast and the company seemed legit. Then over the course of the next 1 1/2 years, shipping of won items slowed down to a halt.

The owner said he's trying to secure financing but I'm sure that was just to get his family out of the country. Seems not many attorneys are apt at going after penny auction sites and the ones that are, seem only interested in getting a large group of plaintiffs or class action suit.

THE TOTAL THEY OWE ME IS WELL OVER $100,000.

I'm considering finding an attorney and filling a suit against for10cents.com. My winnings were only $1200 worth of undelivered products, but I do still have all paypal records and emails regarding delivery/payment acknowledging that they own me the products.

Waiting 1 1/2 years with lots of lies from them

I won an Apple laptop ($1500) in February 2012. It is now August 2013 and nothing.

I actually talked with them several times files papers with them and was always told some story about the shipping date. Then I could never get through. I was particularly disturbed that they were continuing to operate and bring in money and not dispense the products. It wasn't just how much in the end I paid but that I had bought bids for months trying to win.

I see they are offline now.

I want to know if there is a Class Action Suit going on. Or has anyone been successful in getting money from them?

Scam

They got me for aboout 7,000. I waited over a year before giving up on them.

Don't bother with BBB they aren't effective. I actually went to their address in Chicago to collect, but guess what, the address they use is a completely different company who were not very helpful. You can fill out a claim with the Illinois DA and mail it in. I think it worked for a while, but I think they've all skipped out of the country by now.

I was living on the street for a while waiting for Wilhelm's promises to come through. The man's a *** of a good liar, I'll give him that. Hope I meet him someday so I can show him some gratitude. If anyone knows a way to collect let me know.

How do you file a small claims court case? (warchild138@***l)

With a little looking I found several large properties in the Chicago area were purchased by Wilhelm, then sold in the name of a family member at a large profit. He is just hiding behind a lawyer and maintaining he had every intention of paying the countless people ripped off in the 410cent scam.

I believe he is setting up some new operation in the San Fransisco area now. The Illinois AG is well aware he stole your money, so why haven't charges been filed? This is not even an American, and he is allowed to do as he wishes stealing money with no consequence.

Lisa Madigan should have prosecuted him criminally when she was told of his actions. She owes us an explanation why he was allowed to get away with this.

Company failed for over year to deliver items.

The penny auction site, for10cents has failed, for over a year, to send me items "won" on their auction site. The total worth was over $2,000.

The items included Ipads and gift cards. The time frame of the auctions was the fall of 2011. They continually state they are trying to arrange financing which will allow them to make the deliveries.

Whether they are making deliveries on current "wins," I do not know. I contact them regularly by email and they respond, but always indicating they are expecting or hoping for something good to happen, but it never does.

Update on For10cents.com

I had gone thru the Chicago BBB. For10cents lied to them and they dropped it saying there is nothing else they can do other than give them an F rating which they have done.

Filed a small claims court case against them. They are fighting it. So, at least they had to hire a lawyer. I will go to the end of the earth to see that these guys are shut down and stop ripping people off.

I cant believe that someone from Europe can come here, start a website with the sole intent of STEALING from people and we dont have laws to stop them.

File your small claims lawsuits!! Yes, it will cost you another 80 bucks but at least they will have to pay a lawyer.

Hey,

Im in OH and they owe me over $4000 since 01/2010. So you filed in small claims court?

Did you have to go to Illinois to do this? Let me know your whole story if you would. (for10centsscam@***.com) Anyone who is doing anything legal about this, please email me. So, I keep ragging on them via email and I just have Wilhelm or the form letter from payout or customer service sending me back messages with excuses as pathetic as "The international funding source's CEO is ill".

I'm ready to go at them however I can ONLY if I do not have to once again invest anymore big chunks of money in them and get zero in return. They even used excuses for not sending out winnings back in 2009, 2010 such as: auction cheaters, claiming "this auction was used by bidders collaborating with one another, therefore this now void", and would return everyone's bids and not have to send that prize out. These excuses were used frequently back then but I stopped using them from mid 2010 until mid 2012.

Now the same problems with different excuses, I just did not put it all together or admit I was being scammed until it was too late. If they payed out like sites like DealDash did, I would use them often - I really did like their format.

For10cents.com is a scam site

They take in money every day and never ship any products. I spent over $1,000 and "won" three different items over a 2 month period.

(September-October 2011). Since then, they respond to my emails (which has to be close to 50 by now), with "thank you for your patience and understanding, we should have an update for you in 2 weeks". This has been going on for almost a YEAR now. The clincher for me was when they admitted to me in an email that they are not sending products to ANYONE.

So, every day, they take in FREE money with no intention of shipping any products. The CEO is in Europe.

He is laughing all the way to the bank.

Contact your State Attorney Generals Office and make a complaint. The more complaints they get the more likely they will begin to investigate the people. Also, you may try their state Attorney Generals Office.

For10Cents.com. Took my money and didn't send the product.

I registered and participated in auctions on the internet auction site For10Cents.com. I won and paid for a 32GB Ipod Touch in June 2011.

The company sent me an email telling me that I would be receiving the item in 4 weeks. After waiting for six weeks, I sent For10Cents.com an email requesting them to look into why I hadn't received my Ipod. They returned an email message to me stating that it normally took 6 to 8 weeks to receive a product that has been won once it has been paid for. I waited for another month giving them the benefit of two more weeks before I tried to contact them again.

When I still did not receive my product I sent them another email, this time they did not respond. I tried to call their office several times and left several messages on the answering machine. They never responded again. I finally contacted the Better Business Bureau of Chicago, Illinois and filed a complaint.

They sent two letters to them without receiving an answer.

So basically, I bid on and won a 32 GB Ipod Touch worth almost $400.00 and they never sent me the item. I just wonder how many other people they did this to.

Maciej Wilhelm has an address in Des Plains Il, he has used the aliases Macie J Wilhelm, Marie Wilhelm. There is also a man named Thomas Zambrzycki who is the sole shareholder of Catalyst Processing Ltd, which allegedly owns and operates For10cents.

The registered business address is in the UK, but he has a residence at 1455 N Sandburg Ter, Apt 1906

Chicago, IL 60610-****.

I am currently filing a small claims suit. It can be done at home over the computer through law help interactive lawhelpinteractive.org It has to be filed in Cook County Illinois

I have the same issues with this company. I only ever won gift certificates, so my losses were minimal, but the disappointment is just as heavy.

I have contacted them to no avail and sent them a few scathing emails.

I am utilizing my contacts in the FBI and SEC to see if there is anything that we can do to either recoup our money or at the very least, get them shut down. Would love to hear about any class action suit being brought against them.

I won a IPod Touch 32gb on Feb 6th 2012. Still have not received it.

I even sent the notarized financial statement they claim they needed to send out products and money.

I have contact BBB twice with little result.

Company no longer sending out emails to me. I was hoping that maybe a Class Action Lawsuit has been initiated against the company as they keep taking peoples money without an intent to send out any products

Contact your State Attorney Generals office. You may also try their State Attorney Generals office.

The more complaints they get the closer the states are to working together to shut them down. I hate that for them...but I hate it more they keep ripping off the people who trust it is a legitimate business.

Wilhelm the CEO, You can kiss my ***. You ***!

If you're reading all of these negative reviews and still give for10cents your business you're a fool just like we were..

I wish I did read the complaints and review sites before I joined this crooked company. If anyone should speak to Wilhelm tell him Max said Kiss My ***!

Hello - I won an auction from for10cents.com for a WII and game bundle on 6/30/2011 and have not received anything. Contacted them many times and was always told I would receive it "in 2 weeks".

Total scam, fraudalent company and should be shut down. I sent a complaint to BBB of IL, Consumer Protection Agency and Federal Trade Commission.

Guest

I have also been getting the emails saying that they have just recently received their "funding" and that they will start main out items that have been won "very soon". I have yet to see my Ipod Touch. I don't know, but a lawsuit sounds pretty good to me.

Guest
