They have a $5 Friday ad but you need to download picture WHY? I NO longer shop at foodland because of the extra things you need to bring from home to shop there! Plus there prices are very high! Compare to other local supermarkets near by..

Gas Station Illegally Charging for Air

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
In Connecticut, it is against the law for a gas station to charge for the use of its air filling station. The station attendant is supposed to turn on the air machine if requested. On Wed, April 15, 2015, a stop at the Foodland gas station at the corner of Garfield and Walsh streets in Newington, Connecticut led to an incident where the station attendant belligerently refused to turn on the air pump when requeste. He claims that he owns several gas stations in Connecticut and never gives out free air. This is a violation of Connecticut state law and he should be fined.
