Terrible Service - Avoid this business

I was in a car accident, and Folsom Lake Toyota was the preferred service provider for Mercury Insurance. I wondered how different it could be from Roseville Toyota.

My car was towed to FOLSOM LAKE TOYOTA to fix my vehicle.

What a mistake; this has been a nightmare. This is my fourth visit because this place cannot get it right.

After fixing the exterior and interior of my car, which took 40 days, it still needed to be aligned because two tires were replaced on one side of the vehicle. It was time to change my oil as it was due, so I had the alignment added to my general maintenance.

Firstly, I had an appointment, yet I had to wait two hours for this place to begin working on my car because they insert people who show up before scheduled appointments.

Then, I was very clear that when they rotated my tires, the two new tires needed to be placed in front, and my steering needed to be aligned.

Instead, they rotated my tires, leaving one new tire in front and one in the back! Then, instead of aligning my steering, they calibrated it.

The car was, of course, pulling to the left.

I brought my car back so they could align correctly, and when my car was ready, the service advisor apologized for taking so long; it was difficult to align because of the tire tread difference. I found out they never listened to me when I first brought my car in for the alignment. The Service Advisor just shook her head and completely ignored me.

She did not write down what I told her or give the Service Dept instructions, which I made very clear. The new tires always go in the front of a car, I'm not a mechanic and I know this it is a no brainer.

I have been here for over three hours, and my car had to be sent back to the Service Department yet again to have the two new tires put in front and the steering aligned again.

What I saw at FOLSOM LAKE TOYOTA was arrogance, no attention to detail or to the customer, a Service Department that cannot think for themselves or question the Service Advisor and overall terrible service.

If you value your time steer clear of FOLSOM LAKE TOYOTA.

Worst part, I am still waiting for the defective parts this business put on knowing they were defective to come in so they can be put on again.

This will be the fifth and last the time I ever give any business to FOLSOM LAKE TOYOTA!

I would urge anyone who values their time and having the correct service performed on their car to not utilize FOLSOM LAKE TOYOTA.

Horrible service ever! Purchased a brand new car from them with an expensive extended warranty.

Went for my 1st 5000 mile check up and everything was fine. Then 10 mile check up, again "fine". Went in for 15000 mime check up at Elk Grove Toyota and was told my right rear tire was so bold and should have been caught by the at least the 10, 000 mile check up (if not the 5000) by Folsom Toyota. The tire was under warranty until 12, 000 miles.

Thus not being caught now leaving me with a 300$ plus bill for new tire and an alignment. Elk Grove told me Folsom should definitely pay for it under the circumstances. Of course no one is confessing they missed it much less paying for anything. I've lost all trust in Folsom lake Toyota and I'm furious in the way they Have Handled this Situation.

Which is not to take any responsibility nor even do the right thing for customer service sake. I think it's a waste of money paying an additional 40$ per month for thier extended warranty!

They're obviously incapable of catching even a bold tire! The service sucks and they're super rude.

Folsom Lake Toyota: Worst service ever

Worst service ever. Needed a part that would take 2 days to go 400 miles from L.A.

to Folsom. When the day it was supposed to be there came they said it was changed and would be coming from Seattle. Another day. When that day came it was changed again.

Noe it was coming from Arizona and would be 5 more days. That was when i was informed that i could get an after market part the next morning.

They wouldn't even pay for the rental car (which was from their rental service). After i got back to Tustin Toyota (my normal service team) they replaced the after market part, re-reimbursed me for that, the bad service from Folsom, the rental car and part of my hotel bill.
